It’s here..........

... the eagerly anticipated Autumn/Winter catalogue is now LIVE! You can view it in a few ways either by visiting my ONLINE STORE, by clicking on the photo below or by clicking HERE
I honestly think it is such a great offering this year and I cannot wait to make more projects with the gorgeous products and create designs for my action packed calendar up to December. I thought I would share some of my favourite products from the new catalogue with you.
The above suite, Home for Christmas is probably my favourite in the whole catalogue. Traditional colours but with a retro feel of wrapping paper from the 70’s and 80’s. It reminds me of my childhood and I can’t stop using it at the moment.

Below we have the Jingle All the Way stamps and Sleigh Ride edge lit dies which we will be using at my September technique class on 26th Sept.
The Wonderland suite featuring lots of black, white and gold are bound to be popular for all you crafting magpies out there, although I am still at the stage of not wanting to cut into these papers at the moment! Must remedy that soon!
Another firm favourite of mine is the Flurry of Wishes bundle. This comes with a matching punch which punches out the 2 smaller snowflakes to co-ordinate with the stamps, love it!
Next is my favourite embossing folder from the catalogue, the Woodland 6x6 folder which creates these amazing tree branches. Very on trend - I’ve seen lots of wallpaper like this recently.
And finally in my top picks is this little new adhesive! It is a MUST HAVE for all your precision gluing! Honestly I am loving it and cannot imagine crafting without it! Make sure you order one, no make that three, you won’t want to run out!
I have created a new ONLINE CODE for the month of September so if you are shopping today and spending between £25 and £150 then please use my code when prompted to bag yourself a little freebie from me in early October. This months code is EHRPKAXP

16th Birthday Card

Good Morning and Happy Bank Holiday Monday to you if you are in the UK. Today the weather is miserable so it’s the perfect weather for crafting and staying indoors! Which is a good job as I have loads to do (as usual!). Yesterday my eldest son went Go-Karting for his friends birthday and on Saturday evening I asked him if he needed a card! I was met with a series of “no” and “you don’t do that when you are 16” etc.... 15 minutes later (after consultation with another friend) he realises he does need to send a card! Hmmmm, maybe us Mums do know best sometimes! So here is my quick Sunday morning make. It’s almost identical to one I did a few weeks ago, details HERE
A very quick and easy make with a few random stamp sets and the brick wall embossing folder.
I don’t know if Tom liked the card but I hope he did! And I know he won’t have another one like this!

Tomorrow sees the launch of our Autumn/Winter Catalogue and I will be opening up a new Online Code Club for my customers to get a free gift in early October. Thank you to those of you who used my code in August, I have selected your little gifts (yes 2 this month) and they will be with you within the next couple of weeks!

Flurry of Wishes

Good Morning and Happy Sunday to you! Today I am sharing the last of the makes that I made whilst I was at Sarah-Jane’s house last week! Thanks for letting me use your things SJ!

This card uses one of my favourite sets from the new catalogue called Flurry of Wishes. It also has a matching punch which I haven’t used yet but I know it’s going to be a popular one!
I embossed the snowflakes with Versamark and white embossing powder and then rubbed over it with Pool Party ink on a sponge. The sentiment is from the same set and I die cut it out with the Deco Labels dies
Added a smidge of the Silver Satin ribbon and some Rhinestones for good measure!
Right thats me off for today, hopefully I will be back to share something with you tomorrow although I am not quite sure what yet! Most of my makes recently are for my retreat which I will share after the event

Today is the last day to take part in my Online Code Club for August as I will be closing this order tomorrow evening at 8pm. Details below

Cozy Christmas

Hello there! Yipppeeee it’s the weekend! Had a lovely lie in this morning after a lovely Film Night last night with my family and today I am catching up on more jobs and some crafting work I need to do too!

My classes start up again in September and most of them are advertised HERE on my blog or HERE on my Facebook page. You can also subscribe to my events on Facebook so that you never miss one! This card has been designed for my All Day Stamp a Stack in October. My 3rd October event has just one place left but I have spaces on the repeat class on 24th October, making exactly the same cards. Message me if you would like a place. It’s £35 for the full day including a goody bag worth £25 and your lunch.
I have used a new stamp set called Cozy Christmas which was top of my Wish List and is available from Tuesday 1st September. The sentiment and the image are both from the same set and the paper is from the same product suite.
I have so many ideas for projects I just need some more time to make them! The new Autumn/Winter catalogue is PACKED with amazing Christmas products and I had a few excited emails from my online customers who had started to receive their copies yesterday! I know what your bedtime reading will be this weekend!

Have a great Saturday.

Snow Place like home!

Hello there and welcome back to my blog today! I was on a roll yesterday and got lots of work done - mostly things for my weekend retreat that runs in a couple of weeks. There has been a lot of Christmas crafting going on this week and I am really enjoying it!

This is another card that I made whilst staying at my lovely SJ’s house last week. I took this stamp set Snow Place and matching dies with me as I knew SJ didnt have this one. We had a lovely time stamping snowmen and cutting out the various bits with her lovely daughter Zoe.
I used some of the papers from the Home for Christmas suite as I thought they looked like snow falling in the sky and I tore some Whisper White and inked it with Pool Party ink to create a frosty look.
I love the Merry wording from the new thin lets and usually I find these fiddly to adhere to my projects but oh no, not now! Now we have an exciting addition to our adhesive arsenal! This brilliant Precision Glue which I am just LOVING! It’s perfect for gluing small items and will last you ages. Look out for it in the new Autumn/Winter Catalogue on page 43. It’s really easy to miss as it’s in the middle of the Thanksgiving products.
Oooo here is another sneak peek on this photo! I used to glue to adhere the snowflake. Hope you liked todays card, I will share another one tomorrow as we get nearer to the launch of the new Autumn/Winter catalogue on Tuesday!

FYI I am not listing the supplies at the end of this post as most of them are not available until Tuesday!

Retro Santa Sneak Peek!

Hello there! As promised I am back with an actual make today after having a much more productive day yesterday - think I am slowly getting back into things!

On my way home from holiday I stopped off at my lovely downline and wonderful friend Sarah-Jane’s house and SJ and her family kindly put me up for the evening. They are the best hosts and I love spending time with SJ in her craft room, which is where I made this card!
It uses ones of my favourite suites from the new catalogue, Home for Christmas which is a flashback into bygone designs and totally reminds me of wrapping paper and Christmas cards from my childhood in the 70’s and 80’s. Retro is all the thing at the moment
I love the cute chubby Santa, a much more convincing version than last years skinny Santas (they did nothing for me!). The Santa is cut from the paper, and yes I had to break into Sarah-Jane’s lovely papers to make this card- thanks SJ!
You will be seeing a lot more of this suite and I cannot wait to share the rest of the catalogue with you! It goes live next Tuesday 1st September. My catalogues for my regular online shoppers are ready to post tomorrow (thanks to my son Evan who helped me today) and I will be sorting my local customers out with their copies - feel free to drop in if you are around, just drop me a text first!

FYI I am not listing the supplies at the end of this post as most of them are not available until Tuesday!

Weekly Deals and Clearance Rack

Hello there! I had promised you some crafting yesterday but I failed I am afraid! I must admit I am really struggling to get back into “work mode” this year after our lovely holiday. Today was one of those days when I felt like I was being stretched about 25 different ways, what with a poorly dog, 2 boys off school, suitcases to put away, holiday ironing to do and not to mention all the usual household things and Stampin’ Up!

Anyway today WILL be a better day and it’s already got off to a good start with some new Weekly Deals. I will be placing an order in the next couple of days if you are local and would like to add to my order.

We also have a few updated items on the Clearance Rack too so take a look at those whilst you are shopping!

I am now catching up on emails and class things and counting down to the Autumn/Winter Catalogue which starts next Tuesday! I will be posting these out to my customers this week. I have to say - it is amazing, I don’t know where to start!

Hopefully I will be back tomorrow with something to share!

Two Big Birthdays

Hello there! Yipppeeee it’s Saturday again and I am sharing 2 special cards with you today for two ladies I have met through Stampin Up! I realised the other week that they both turn 50 within 2 days of each other! Happy Birthday to Allie and Bekka for their big birthdays this week!

I made them both the same card I am afraid! Time was of the essence and I re-worked a 60th card I did the other week but changed the colours up!
I also used some papers from the upcoming Autumn/Winter catalogue! Sneak Peek Alert!!!!
There is a retired product on here I am afraid, the numbers that I used are no longer available and I do not own the Little Number dies yet that are in our current catalogue.
The cards in the above photo look different colours but I can assure you it is just a trick of the light! I hope Allie and Bekka like their cards and don’t mind me sharing their age on the WWW!

I have opened a new Code Club for August and the code to use is  SCVAC3K4  please use this code when prompted when shopping online with me and spending between £25 and £150, a gift will be sent to you in September. Endless Birthday Wishes

When I first saw our Annual Catalogue one of the stamp sets I knew would be a winner was this one, the Endless Birthday Wishes on Page 6. 27 stamps for only £14.00 and perfect for all your sentiments for birthdays. Well guess what? I have barely used it!! Are you seeing a pattern here?? I thought I would share with you 2 of the cards that I have made with it though! I have also made 2 or 3 others I do believe so maybe it’s not as bad as I thought!
This one was made for our Training Day so show how you can do paper piecing. Can you see the centre of the cake is patterned like the background paper? Well you stamp the cake again on the patterned paper and then cut it out and layer it over the other stamped image. A bit fiddly but effective I think.
Here is another make using the same products just a couple of changes. This one was from a Stamp a Stack in June I believe.
I have changed the way I shared the products below and they are on a carousel so you can whizz through them rather than them being in a list. Which do you prefer? Would love your feedback on an email!
