Stampin Up Christmas Wish List

Hello there! It’s the last day of October and it’s time to launch my Christmas Wish List Service for 2015! I love helping you get crafty goodies for Christmas and this will be my 7th year of offering this service! Non-crafters often find it difficult to shop for us crafters so I help take all the difficulties away with my Wish List!

All you need to do is email me (email address at the top of my blog) and I will send you a Wish List Form, you can print it off, fill it in and then post it back or hand it back to me. You could scan it too or simply just email me a list of the things on your list. You then provide your loved ones with my contact details and ask them to contact me BEFORE 10th December, or if it helps I will contact them for you!

If the presents are being collected locally I will even wrap them (please note wrapping styles may vary)
If you prefer a Gift Voucher or wish to purchase a Gift Voucher for someone then this can also be arranged too.

Hope you find this service useful, I love being a Stampin Santa!

Wedding Card

Hello there and happy Friday to you! I’ve had such a lovely relaxing week this week with plenty of lie ins and rest and time with my boys. I have been working on things behind the scenes and have launched my Christmas Wish List for 2015.  Let me know if you would like some more information on it!

Last week my dear friend and dance partner Paul celebrated the wedding of his youngest brother. I asked him if he had a wedding card sorted (knowing he wouldn’t have) and of course he said no, and was that an offer! I asked what the theme was and he just said his sister-in-law to be like retro 70’s, orange, green and yellow so I came up with this design.
My lovely downline Sally Jo loves a good wedding card and of course the rotary stamp so I decided to use the Rotary stamp for their names and the old faithful Petite Pairs stamps for the sentiments. When in doubt a few 3D flowers always go down well and I made these from the Scallop Circle and normal circle punches.
I also added some of the Sahara Sand Lace Trim and a fair bit of inking around the edges of the card stock.
Paul was really thrilled with the card and I hope the bride and groom were too - even though he told me the wrong spelling of the bride’s name!
Today I am closing off this months Online Code Club. The thank you cards are made so if you would like a little gift in a couple of weeks please use the code as detailed below.

Here is the Online Code for October. Please use this code when shopping on my Online Store and spending between £25 and £150. If spending over £150 you will earn your own rewards.

Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop

Welcome to the Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop for October. This month our theme is PROJECT LIFE.  We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Julie Kettlewell or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Julie Kettlewell.

This is the first time I have managed to join in with this hop and I jumped at the chance when I saw it was Project Life! Unusually for me I haven’t used the Project Life cards in the way that I usually do, making my albums for my boys, but instead I made a card for a lovely friend and class attendee who has recently become a Grandma for the first time! Now I must apologise for the dodgy photos! We are going into winter here in the UK and today is the most dark and miserable rainy day ever!!!
I decided to use the Hello Baby set and create a Congratulations card for the lovely Tina and her husband, as they are so excited to welcome baby Dexter!

Because the card was a bespoke design I didn’t have an envelope for it so I created one from the Whisper White card stock and then trimmed it up.
And because I was hand-delivering the card I just sealed it with a bit of Washi Tape from the Accessory pack so the envelope didn’t get ripped!
Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog - JULIE KETTLEWELL, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

Just a little reminder for my regular online shoppers, my Online Code Club for October will be closing on Friday evening. All the details can be found on blog posts earlier in the week!

Advent Calendar Class or Kit by Mail

Hello there! I am really excited to share a new class with you today. I first saw a project like this a couple of weeks ago on the Stampin Up US Blog made by the wonderful Artisan design team member Allison Okamitsu, seriously loving all her work! I knew I had to make this project and then teach a class doing it.

I made it up last week although I have now found an easier way of doing the base which means it is a bit bigger at the bottom than the one on the photo, but a heck of a lot easier to construct and I am all about things being easy!
The classes will run on 2 evenings alongside my regular Project Life and BYOP nights and will start at 7pm. A trimmer, adhesive and foam pads are required and a hot glue gun would be useful too! Places are already being filled so please do get in touch if you would like to come along.

The class kit includes 1/2 a pack of Home for Christmas papers, Hello December Project Life accessory pack, 2 metres of Mossy Meadow ribbon, punched scallop circles and 26 Tiny Treat boxes.
I cannot wait to load this with little treats for the boys this Christmas

I am also able to offer this as a Kit in the Mail for £32 with instructions emailed to you.

Hearth and Home Treat Bag

Good Morning to you! It’s a very happy Monday here as we have all had a lie in (well except for poor Mr K who has had to go to work as normal) and Benji dog is happy as he is usually a bit grumpy on a Monday when the house becomes so quiet again!

Today I am sharing the final make from my Hearth and Home class and for this one we decorated a Petite Cafe Gift Bag to match the cards we made.
I just love these bags for gifts and they are food safe too!
Here are all 3 projects together, which one is your favourite? We had a lovely time making these at Tuesday Club a couple of weeks ago.
Short and sweet today from me as we have the dreaded dentist later on this morning. What sort of Mum books the dentist for the first morning of the school holidays??

It’s not too late to take advantage of my Hostess Code Club as I will be closing the order on Friday evening.

Here is the Online Code for October. Please use this code when shopping on my Online Store and spending between £25 and £150. If spending over £150 you will earn your own rewards.

Christmas Window

Good Morning! Phew I am still tired after a long day at my repeat All Day Stamp a Stack yesterday but what a lovely day. This was a repeat day with 18 ladies this time and was slightly less manic than my previous event! Next year I will be looking at offering 2 dates again but with equal numbers at each with a maximum of 24 people so please watch out for those in 2016.

Today I am sharing a card from the Tuesday Club event a couple of weeks ago which was part of the Hearth and Home makes that we did. This card was cased from Michelle Last who I think cased from Delys Cram which I shared with you on Friday!
I am loving these dies and they have had a LOT of stick as they have been through the Big Shot over 1100 times. I have found though that they come out a lot easier with the new Precision Plate. I used the matching stamp set to stamp the trees behind in Mossy Meadow and then we sponged a Marina Mist sky and popped some vellum over the top of that.
I am loving that I can now easily add the little corded trim bow onto the star using the Fine Tip Glue pen, made it so much easier.

Well it’s the first day of my 9 days off from doing any events so I am going to enjoy unpacking my boxes from yesterday and a little family time. Love my classes but need a little time of with my family this week!

Hearth and Home dies

Hi there and Happy Friday! Today is an extra happy Friday as my boys break up from school for a week! So pleased about that, we are all ready for it! Tonight I have my monthly Stamp a Stack class and then tomorrow I have my All Day Repeat Stamp a Stack event for 18 ladies - in total 46 ladies will have attended this event, I am so thrilled with the support, thank you so much. That’s a total of 1104 cards made!!! WOW!

Today I am sharing a card TOTALLY cased from my lovely fellow demonstrator and lover of Project Life - Delys Cram from New Zealand, you can fin Delys’ post HERE. Thank you Delys for the inspiration.
There are lots of products used on this card and lots of layering but I really enjoyed it, as did my Tuesday ladies

Hope you like it too? I will list all the products below!

While I have your attention I would love to share the 2nd Episode Part 1 of Stampin’ Chat with you. Please take 10 minutes to watch it and learn all about being a Stampin Up Demonstrator. I must say I can barely watch it myself and was cringing the whole way through and laughing at myself clinging to the coffee cup! Also there is a competition you can enter that closes on Sunday!

Special 40th Birthday Card

Yesterday one of my lovely customers and friend celebrated her special 40th birthday so I felt it fitting to send her a card. Jo loves the wreaths and dies so I knew I would be using the Circle of Spring stamp and decided on a gate fold style card
I love this colour combo of Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizazz and Wisteria Wonder. The background is the Dots for Days stamp set. The Circle of Spring stamp is great for colouring in as it doesn’t mean you have to be an artist to do it, the areas to colour are very small and perfect for using the Blender pens with the ink pads.
My favourite part of the card is the little popped up banner in the middle but I have a feeling it may have got a little squashed in the post!
Inside I created a garland across the top by just stamping part of the wreath!
Jo I hope you continue to have a fab week celebrating - enjoy it! It’s great being 40!
