Stampin’ Chat

Good Morning and happy Monday to my lovely readers! A few months ago I was asked to take part in a series of videos partnering with Stampin’ Up! and some lovely fellow demonstrators! The series of mini videos are filmed in a chat show style and are to share with you the audience, what it is like to be a demonstrator and what it involves. There will be 2 videos per month, the first one was posted last Wednesday and you can view it on You Tube below and also take part in a competition to win some Stampin Up goodies. Episode 2 goes live on Wednesday and includes a little bit of creating in this one too!
I am not a fan of watching myself on televison! I still have only been able to watch the Strictly Super Fan quiz once but it’s good to out of your comfort zone from time to time! Filming was a long but enjoyable process and the filming guys were brilliant! Here is the team below! I love this photo!
We had so much fun but it was a bit crazy!
Here is a little sneak peek of our “studio”
I do hope you will watch the series and if you have any questions about becoming a demonstrator please do contact me!

Team Welcome Pack

Hello there! Little lie in today here at Chez Kettlewell so I am just doing my blog following a lazy morning! Yesterday one of my new team members, Kate, came round for a little bit of training after joining Stampin Up a few days ago. I always like to make a welcome pack for my brand new recruits and here is Kate’s. I used the Painted Blooms papers which are so lovely I had to take a sharp intake of breath before I cut into them!
I used 2 of the pieces with the large pattern which means the project doesn’t need much more adding to it to look effective.  Here is what I include in the pack. A deep box file for paperwork, a decorated journal for training notes, a colour chart, a handmade card and a short guide to being a demonstrator and a member or our team - Julie’s Jems.
The journal is one of our large Kraft Journals and they are so easy to decorate with some patterned paper and a little ribbon.
The card used more of the paper and some Blackberry Bliss ribbon and the Hello You thinlits.
Welcome to the team Kate, I know you are going to enjoy your Stampin Up journey with us.

If you have been pondering joining or simply have some questions then I am planning an Opportunity Evening at my home on Thursday 26th March from 7pm. Come along for a play in my craft den and to find out about becoming a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! in an informal setting.

Christmas Favour

Hi there! How dark and cold is it again this morning! Boo to this winter weather creeping up on us! I don't like it one bit! Last night I did a talk at a local WI meeting and met some lovely ladies there. I t was great to talk about Stampin UP and papercrafting and they all got to make a simple gift tag! Thank you for asking me Sharon!

Here is a Christmas Favour that I demonstrated at Susan's workshop a couple of weeks ago. The project is made by scoring 2 of the Labels framelits and adhering them together. Some gorgeous designer paper is then added (this one is from Festival of Prints from the Seasonal catalogue) and I punched through both layers and tied them together.

The Christmas tree is from Scentsational Season which was stamped in Gumball Green and the sentiment is from Curly Cute.

I have used the new Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details which I just adore and at £2.25 its a bargain to spruce up your Christmas makes!!!

Talking of Christmas Favours how would you like me to do you a favour at Christmas???

Did you know I offer a gift list service (not just at Christmas)?

If you email me at julie.kettlewell@ntlworld.com I will send you a Gift List online and you can add your Wish List items to it. You then pass my details on to your family and friends when they ask you what you want for Christmas - then I do the rest! I even gift wrap it for them!!!

Gift  vouchers also available

Back tomorrow folks
