Flowerfull Heart meets Follow my Heart

Hello there! Happy New Year's Eve to you! I'm not particularly a fan of New Year celebrations so no lavish partying for us tonight but I do like to reflect on the past year. Think I will leave that for tomorrow though!!!

After my mammoth tidy of my craft room I made 4 cards yesterday using new products. The ones I have used on the card below are only available until 27th January - they are designed for Valentine's but I think they are great for other love related projects for both cardmaking and scrapbooking.
This is a card I made last night. I have been wanting to make a card with a mini envelope on using the Envelope Punch Board, so here it is! I am really pleased with how it turned out!
The colour combo is Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Real Red and Pool Party - one of my favourite Valentine combos.
We will be using both of these stamp sets at my first technique class of 2014 on Saturday 1st February. Please check my Classes/Events page for all the details.

That's all for today. Which just leaves me to wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your families.

Christmas over for another year!

Hi there! I thought I was long overdue a blog post today so here I am with one! Not really crafty I am afraid (today will be a crafting day though!) but a little insight into our Christmas this year! It was the first one in our new home so it felt a little different (in a nice way). The boys always open their stocking gifts on our bed and sit on the stairs for a photo. I have the same posed photos from at least the last 6 years.
Ross being Ross!
Santa had been!
Check out my lovely sign which was a gift from my fabby downline Sarah-Jane. We visited Mollie and Lucas on Christmas day, here she is wearing the dress I bought her when she was born.
Then Mollie visited us on Boxing Day and I took some photos!
Over the last 3 days Evan and I have completed a 1000 Disney Pixar jigsaw. We love jigsaws and had great fun doing this one.
We have also played lots of games and watched lots of TV
Yesterday I needed to brave the craft room. It needed a really good sort out so I pulled EVERYTHING out that is hidden under the tables! It was looking like it was never going to be sorted but 4 hours later, 2 bin bags and 2 full boxes of stuff to throw away and it was done!
Now I just need to get in there and do some crafting today!
I will be back soon to show you what I have made!

My Week (part 2)

Hi there and happy Christmas Eve to you all - my lovely blog readers! Are you all ready for tomorrow? I think we are, I am just doing the cleaning today and then we are going to make Gingerbread houses this afternoon!

Last week I did a lot of crafting for cards for my lovely team members. I had already made lots of these for the teamies that attended training but then I just had to make the same for my girls who live too far away to attend so think I had just under 40 to make and post out.
Here is a reminder of the little cards I made! Very small cute cards but they took a lot of work. I worked out that I inked in the region of 165 holly berries and cut out 110 leaves and inked those!!! It was totally worth it - loved my mini cards.
Now I couldn't send the chocolate sledges in the post so I bought a little token gift for my girls and wrapped them and posted them out with the card.
Here are some of them all stacked up ready to go in envelopes.
Last week I also had a bit of a run on Christmas gift vouchers so here is one I made!
I also decided to pack away my Christmas stamps as I don't want to see another Christmas stamp set for a long long time! I also needed to make room for lots of lovely new stamp sets that I intend on playing with over the festive period.
On Thursday one of my dear customers Maggie, invited some of her friends and me for a little crafty session and lunch at her beautiful home. It was lovely not to have had to plan the craft myself! I kept telling Maggie she should be a demonstrator!!!
She made us all these wonderful crackers using the Envelope Punch Board and the Festive Flurry stamp set. Inside was a lovely gift of a lip gloss.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I got up to last week
