June workshop fun!

Good morning! As June is almost over I thought I would share my June workshop projects with you! Thank you to my wonderful hostesses who hosted Stampin Up parties for me this month, I have met some lovely people and got re-acquainted with others too!! I love doing workshops!!!

This is the make and take card all the ladies at the workshops have made. It uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set which has been really popular with the matching Blossom punch

Its a simple make but at workshops its all about simple, quick and beautiful projects!!  The colour combo on this card is Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride and Basic Grey

Here is a "stepped up" version, I always show my ladies another version of the card with a few extra accessories on and different colour ways.

And this was my little hostess gift. We were shown these at our Stampin Up Regional Training back in May and its a lovely, no gluing Tea Bag holder, although I have used it for some cute little note cards for my hostess.

I also made some matching envelopes with the Simply Scored Diagonal plate, so easy when you know how and have the right tools!

All the projects together!

At last nights workshop Trish had even made a lovely Chocolate Cake to celebrate the workshop!! Bless her!!!

Thank you to all my supportive and loyal customers and hostesses!!!!

Happy weekend everyone!

Last of the Tuesday club

Ok here I am with the last card from the Tuesday Club. This time a Thinking of You card using So Saffron and Crumb Cake with Whisper White.

The stamp set is Everything Eleanor and I have created a background by stamping once then stamping again with a fainter image.

The sentiment is from Curly Cute and I have used my Stamp a ma jig to put the sentiment on 2 lines rather than on all one row!

Inside got a little stamping too!

And finally here are all 3 cards together!!

If you would like to join our Tuesday club classes take place fortnightly at 7.30 in Pudsey. I promise we are a friendly bunch and welcome new people!

Hmmmm think I will be back tomorrow with another Stamp a Stacker!

More from the Tuesday Club

Good Morning! So yesterday I shared the Get Well card with you and today is the turn of the Sympathy card we made. The ladies could choose to change the sentiments to make them for any occasion they wanted. This card was made using the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set which Lynne asked me to use as she keeps wondering whether to purchase it!!!!!

The stamp set has a tree image, a floral branch (used above) and 3 sentiment stamps, one of which can be split into 2 which I did on this card!

The colour combo is Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. The flowers were made with the Itty Bitty punch and some pearls.

Inside the card I used the sentiment "Please know that I care" which is on the same block as the Thinking of You wording. I simply coloured the bottom part of the sentiment in with a Crumb Cake marker pen. The floral branch came in handy again to decorate the corners of the inside of the card.

Back tomorrow with the remaining card from our trio!

Inspired by Pinterest!

Last night we had our Tuesday club, OMG what a giggle we had!!!! These ladies always put a smile on my face each time we meet!!! AND we made some lovely cards too!!

So Lynne had asked if we could make Sympathy/Get Well cards this time and I saw a card on Pinterest which I just loved the Colour Combo of, it was So Saffron and Pool Party. I cased the card but added some of my own touches using the Everything Eleanor set and some Pool Party ribbon.

We used lots of layers and quite a bit of cutting out too!

Inside also got some treatment and we used the Get Well Soon from Delightful Decorations as well as the Petite Pairs sentiment.

And an arty farty angled shot!

I usually make a joke that I always forget something at class and lately, since moving to a smaller craft room, I have been doing really well and not forgetting many things at all!! HOWEVER, last night I made a huge faux pas - I didn't bring any card blanks at all!!!!! I cut everything else out so meticulously but forget the actually card to stick it to!!!!!!

If you would like to join our Tuesday Club (we meet fortnightly) or would like to order any of the products used then please don't hesitate to contact me on 0792 199 7148 or 0113 2570917. I would love to help you or have you join us!!

I will share another card from the class tomorrow

Stamp a Stack cards

Hello there!! Last Friday I had my monthly Stamp a Stack event! I do love these events, they take a lot of planning but I love to see how my ladies can make 12 cards in 3 hours!!! This time we welcomed Debbie for the first time and she did so well, has hardly done any stamping before at all and she went home with 12 lovely cards!!

OK so here is the first one, its a gatefold card (I dont often make this style and now I am wondering why!) and it uses the Beau Chateau papers. The ladies make 2 of each card so they made this version and the blue version below as I didnt have enough papers for them to do both the same - bit of variety is nice though don't you think?

I stamped on the paper with the Mixed Bunch stamp set to make it look a little bit more interesting. The flower was stamped with the Mixed Bunch stamp and then punched out with the co-ordinating Blossom Punch and layered up with a Pink Pirouette flower onto a Framelit (my ladies are loving the Framelits).

Inside we used a choice of greeting from Sincere Salutations

And here is the Blue version

With a different sentiment!

Which is your favourite??

Jubilee Scrapbooking

Hello there! On Saturday I held my monthly scrapbooking class. I do love this class as its nice to get my photos scrapped and memories created!! We are always looking for new members if you fancy it!!!

So last month I asked the ladies to take some photos of their Jubilee antics!!

Here is my layout. I still need to do the journalling on the left. We spent our Jubilee in Legoland and Harry Potter exhibition so not a traditional celebration!!

I created a background paper using the crown stamp from Artistic Etchings. I think its one of the most detailed and crisp images in all of my stamp sets that I own!

I made the bunting by cutting rectangles 3cmx5cm and then cutting a point out. We used the lovely Not Quite Navy taffeta ribbon to make the little bows.

So here are my ladies pages - June scrapbooked a special party her family attended

Ellie went to a Jubilee event in her village and made sure she took plenty of photos!

Zoe copied my layout but hadnt brought her photos. She and her family spent their Jubilee in Spain. THis was the first time Zoe had ever finished a layout - huge well done to Zoe!!!

GInnette didnt have any Jubilee photos so she found these photos of the Union Jack minis!

Yvonne had one of her famous get togethers and scrapped her Jubilee BBQ

I LOVE this page!!!

And Yvonne's daughter Peita also scrapped the same event using lots of small photos!!

If you would like to attend the next session is Saturday 21st July in Pudsey! Please email me to book a place!

Back to the crafting!

Hi there!! I hope you have enjoyed my Vienna posts, thank you for the lovely comments on my photos!! Its back to the crafting now and I have to say I did miss it last week!

I have had a few events this week - Tuesday Club (on Tuesday surprisingly!!), Stamp a Stack on Friday and Scrapbook Club on Saturday! Today I have one of my new downline coming round for a little bit of training and crafting!

So today I am sharing the projects we made at Tuesday Club this week. This colour combo and the large card was inspired my my very talented downline Sally-Jo (link in my sidebar)

I used the colour combo inspired by SJ of Basic Grey, Marina Mist, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake and my ladies all made a One Sheet Wonder from a piece of A4! This means that we stamped a whole sheet of Very Vanilla with the different stamps to create our own background paper and then we used it on all the cards. The stamp set is of course The Open Sea

So this is a simple card with 3 strips cut up and I added a piece of Soft Suede Striped grosgrain with the globe on top with an anchor and brad - very simple card

But a little extra decor inside just tarts it up a bit!!!

This was my fave card of the evening! The ever popular Framelits were put to good use and I just love how this card seems to work!!! All the ladies got the same supplies in their kit and I just love the added Basic Grey button on this one!!

And finally we made an A5 card. Not sure I have ever made an A5 card in class before but Sally Jo inspired me to! I have left this one fairly plain on the front and then if I need it for a special birthday or something I can add the numbers to the front.

A large card like this needs some special treatment inside don't you think?

Right thats all for now. This week my ladies have requested we do Sympathy and Get Well Cards so I will be working on them asap and sharing with you soon!
