Flurry of Wishes - 20% off today only

Hello and welcome to my blog today. Today is the last day of our Online Extravaganza and we have another 24 hour flash sale for you which ends this evening at 10.30pm. We have the 4 items pictured above heavily discounted. First up, the Flurry of Wishes bundle, thats the stamps and punch is £28.00 instead of £36. The Bell Punch is reduced from £16 to £9.60. The Magnetic platform is an absolute STEAL at £23.40 instead of £36 (this will be very popular) and the Playful Palette papers are £5.40 instead of £9.00.

On Friday evening  I tempted my ladies with the Flurry of Wishes bundle and we made this card at my Stamp a Stack event. This card pays homage to the colour combination of my bedroom in the 80's  which was pale pink and grey. A lot of my similar aged friends also comment that they had similar coloured rooms too!
I've used Blushing Bride, Sweet Sugarplum and Smoky Slate and I am loving it as a quick simple make. Now you may think I was experimenting with a shadow technique on the snowflakes on the top left, I wasn't, I just went wrong and wanted to share that sometimes that happens to me too!
I'm still loving the sequins and must still have a good 2/3rds of a pot left despite me now using them in 3 classes and finding a barage of them on the studio floor!
Here is the list of the remaining discounted products. I have an order going in this evening at 8pm if you are local and would like to add to it! If not you are welcome to use my ONLINE STORE

Christmas Bunting

Hello there! Happy Wednesday to you! Last night I ran my last Tuesday class for 2015. I don’t run any events during December as a rule to allow me to focus on my family and the new product designs and classes for 2016. I do have spaces at the Tuesday Club from 2016 so please do contact me for more information if you would like to come to class on a Tuesday evening.

Today I am sharing the Christmas Bunting project from my Retreat Day on Saturday. It is a mash up of two designs I saw, one from Pam Morgan who works for Stampin Up and the other from the lovely Michelle Last. Very hard to photograph so I attached it to my dresser so you could see it all.

The pieces are only pegged on to make it easier to store when not in use
It did make a rather nice addition to my display yesterday I have to say!
My hostess online code is still valid until Sunday evening when I will be closing the order. Please do use the code when spending between £25 and £150 on my Online Store. We also have some new Weekly Deals this week, a bit of Black and Gold going on! I have an order going in on Friday evening if you would like to add to it!

Flurry of Wishes One Sheet Wonder

Hello there! I am back today with Christmas makes from my All Day Retreat on Saturday. At the end of the day I usually do the easiest project as people are very tired (including myself) so I like to make it a little easier for everyone. All my ladies got the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and matching punch included in their generous kit to make 2 of the projects a lot easier for them. We created an A4 sheet of stamped snowflakes in Smoky Slate, Island Indigo and Pool Party and then cut it up to make various cards.
I saw this design on Brian King’s blog and loved the layout so I CASED it and added my own touch on it. Thank you to Brian for the inspiration.
Another design very easy to construct.
The ladies also got envelopes to decorate to go with their lovely cards.
I’ll be back tomorrow to show you another project from the event.

Christmas Gift Packaging

Woo it’s Saturday and we have a long weekend this weekend as the boys are on a Training Day on Monday so we get an extra lie in!

Today I am sharing something quick and simple which we made at our Coffee and Card session this week. Gift packaging is always useful and these boxes are perfect to have a stash of just in case and can be assembled and decorated in minutes.
I’ve used some of the papers from the Autumn/Winter catalogue for the first time and I have to say they are lovely, quite overlooked in the catalogue I think. I have popped them on the list of products used at the end of this post.
The great thing about these style boxes is you just have to slide the acetate wrap off to get into the gift inside so the lovely bow and tag stay in tact!

Thank you for your Online Orders so far this month, details of Novembers code below

Flurry of Wishes

Good Morning and Happy Sunday to you! Today I am sharing the last of the makes that I made whilst I was at Sarah-Jane’s house last week! Thanks for letting me use your things SJ!

This card uses one of my favourite sets from the new catalogue called Flurry of Wishes. It also has a matching punch which I haven’t used yet but I know it’s going to be a popular one!
I embossed the snowflakes with Versamark and white embossing powder and then rubbed over it with Pool Party ink on a sponge. The sentiment is from the same set and I die cut it out with the Deco Labels dies
Added a smidge of the Silver Satin ribbon and some Rhinestones for good measure!
Right thats me off for today, hopefully I will be back to share something with you tomorrow although I am not quite sure what yet! Most of my makes recently are for my retreat which I will share after the event

Today is the last day to take part in my Online Code Club for August as I will be closing this order tomorrow evening at 8pm. Details below
