Hello there! I was a naughty blogger yesterday but the blog took a hit as I had 2 events in one day! Coffee and Card in the morning and then BYOP night in the evening! Talk about back into work mode - good job I love it!
It’s tradition to document my adventures on the Stampin Up! trips so here goes with part one today. Jane and I travelled in a day early as our flights wouldn’t have got us there in time on the Wednesday. I am so pleased we did as we had a lovely walk on the Wednesday morning and did our quota of steps and active minutes (for all you FitBit lovers!).
Here is our hotel, the Pestana Carlton. Quite the building built into the rocks, I bet the foundations are quite deep on this structure!
Here was the view from our room. We had one of the Garden View rooms which was really a lovely view over the pool area!
And here is a view from the 18th floor! Yes the Stampin Up Hospitality Suite was on the top floor of the hotel - not for the faint hearted!
So we did a lot of walking and saw lots of lovely flowers along the way. Jane was telling me all the names of the flowers (I’m no Percy Thrower!)
There were also lots of these cute little lizardy gecko type things (I’m no Steve Backshall either!) and we liked spotting them on the trees and in the walls!
Soon it was time to head up to the Hospitality Suite and I made myself at home right away!
Selfie from the 18th floor with my new sun hat!
That evening we had a wonderful welcome dinner with everyone, the food was lovely and the setting was just perfect overlooking the calm sea.
Here is a group shot of our table, pinched from the Stampin Up UK Facebook page. Do you like my Watermelon Wonder jacket? I must be very on trend! Ha ha!
Hope you enjoyed a few photos, I will be back tomorrow with more!
It’s Wednesday so it means the Weekly Deals are here and I am placing an order tonight/tomorrow if anyone would like anything.
I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June which I will be closing on 30th June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZM when checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £20 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you. Thank you to my May shoppers for the lovely emails and messages to say your parcels had arrived!
