Here is another card from Fridays Stamp a Stack event. My lovely downline Sally Jo put me onto this stamp set and I am really enjoying using it! Its called Blooming with Kindness and can be found on page 87 of the Annual Catalogue.

I have CASED a card that I saw on a fellow demos blog, Val Moody - thank you Val! The colour combo is Pool Party, Gumball Green, Regal Rose and Very Vanilla

It was a really simple make but I think the flower image is just stunning!

Hope you like it and if you would like to attend my next Stamp a Stack it is on Friday 30th November at 7pm. This will be our last one for 2012

No Peeking Stamp a Stack

Hi there! I thought I would start to share last weeks Stamp a Stack cards with you! We had a lot of fun last Friday and welcomed 2 new ladies to class, Jenny and Barbara!

This was one of my favourites of the night using the No Peeking stamp set from the new Annual Catalogue. It also uses the Northern Flurry embossing folder which has been my most popular seller in October!! I love this folder as it leaves some space in one of the corners for you to stamp an image of sentiment - like I have done below!

The colour combo for this card is Cherry Cobbler and Lucky Limeade. The sentiment just fit inside the Ornament punch!

You can see on this photo that we added some of the Iridescent Dazzling Details on the card to look like frosty snow!

Just thought I would share this funny moment with you! My friend Ginnette forgot to colour little penguins eyes with the marker pen before she stamped him! Here is the result!

We thought he looked so cute, I just had to take a photo! He was soon given eyes with the use of our marker pens!!!

Bye for now!

Team Welcome packs

Hello there. I have scheduled this post as I will hopefully be enjoying a little lie in this morning with it being the school holidays for us!!!

I recently had 2 lovely new ladies join our team of Jems. I like to send my girls a welcome pack and a card to show my appreciation for them joining our fab team!

Here are the ones I made for Joan and Shazza. Very simple cards using the Natural Composition papers and the Elegant Butterfly punch with a monogram using the Morning Post alphabet.

The colours used are Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla with the stamping done in Soft Suede.

Here is Joan's pack. I do a little notebook as a gift (we all love to write notes and wish lists), a colour chart, a card and a handbook with lots of hints and tips in.

Here is Joan's notebook in more detail.

I have a few ladies who are considering the Stampin Up opportunity and have to share its a fantastic time to sign up. Make sure you do before the end of November and take advantage of the free paper offer for 6 months. If you joined now you would not need to meet your first quarterly minimum of £270  sales until the end of March and you could earn up to 30% off your first order!

If you would like an informal chat about being one of our team members and enjoying the perks of being a demonstrator please don't hesitate to get in touch with me, I would love to help you!

And then there were 3!

Hello there! I feel like I have been up hours and its only 10.25, loving the extra hour! Got all my ironing done before 11.00 - now thats rare!!

Here is the last card from our Tuesday Club makes and it uses the remainder of the One Sheet Wonder we created to make the previous card

The large circular flower stamp was stamped and then punched out with the Blossom punch and we added a button from the Brights collection.

The sentiment is Curly Cute stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

And here are all 3 matching cards from our class. Our next Tuesday club is this coming Tuesday (30th) and we will be tackling Mens Cards. If you want to join us just mail me at julie.kettlewell@ntlworld.com

Good morning - its a wee bit chilly today! We havent got snow though - just a lot of ice by the looks of it! We had a lovely Stamp a Stack last night - thank you to the ladies for attending, 2 new ladies too!! And thanks to Fay for baking parkin for us, how lucky were we?

Here is another card from Tuesday night which uses the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set and lots of lovely colours from the Brights colour family.

I added a cute little bow in  Daffodil Delight and then inside got a little bit of treatment too!

Floral District suite

Good morning! A little later than planned this morning. I have been for a walk to the Post Office to collect a parcel and its FREEEEEEEEZING

Thought I would warm us up with a nice bright card today. I was so inspired by the wonderful display by Kylie on Saturday that I based my Tuesday class around it.

Here is the first card we made using the Floral District papers and the new Elegant Butterfly punch.

I have combined this with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder and the sentiment from a new stamp set called Friendly Phrases which I am really enjoying using.

Inside got a little bit of treatment too!

Hope you like the make and I will be back with the rest of the cards over the next couple of days.

Bye for now

Team Congratulations

Urrrgghhh who turned off the lights?? How dark is it this morning! Just rubbish!!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of handing out a few cards to our team for their recent promotions! I love to make these sorts of cards!!!!

Here is a little selection, I had another style too!

I have used Summer Starfruit and Primrose Petals with the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and the Curly Cute sentiment!

I even added one of the new In Colour Dahlias on the butterfly. I was lucky to get these given to me in Vienna as one of the spin the wheel prizes! I'm also loving the Chevron Embossing Folder which I used in the background of the card along with the Apothecary Accents framelits

Here they are together

And here is one I sent to our lovely Sarah-Jane for getting top sales in September! Well done Sarah-Jane! I like to send a little card and a small prize to our top sales girl and the best thing is its usually someone different each month!

Back tomorrow with some more Team Congratulations card.

A different take on yesterdays project

Hi there, just a really quick post from me today. When I make a project, time permitting I like to try it out in other colour combos etc…. SO - when I made the bag yesterday I couldn't resist making one in Midnight Muse with the Natural buttons, love these!

I love how the cards turned out, stamping the sentiment onto Crumb Cake instead.

And I stamped on the envelopes too!

Whilst demoing on Saturday I ended up with a half made one so decided to finish it off on Sunday evening. I used a different edgelit to give a different look and I combined yesterdays colours with the Natural buttons from the project above.

I coped the ribbon on the flower, looped round, from my friend and downline Ginnette who likes to do this a lot with her ribbons.

Which do you prefer? I must say I am loving the Midnight Muse!!

Back tomorrow

Our Training Project

Good morning - although it doesn't look so good out there - it's dark, wet and miserable!

I have been itching to share this project with your for the last couple of weeks. I got the idea from the wonderful Frenchie Stamps, you can find the original post HERE. I love France's blog and her videos are so cute, thank you for the inspiration

We have used the Natural Composition paper - paper it is not, it is so much thicker and certainly more like card. What you might not see from my photos is the lovely embossed style sheen you get on these "papers" too!

We used Primrose Petals as our accent colour and added the Vintage Faceted Buttons

Smooch Spritz spray in Vanilla Shimmer was added to the flower

Inside we made 4 simple notecards with envelopes - the new Crumb Cake ones - using the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and matching punch

The cards are very simple as the papers as so lovely you don't need much more!

The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners and stamped in Soft Suede

I really hope you like this project, it seemed to go down really well on the day. I am doing a class on this in January so please watch this space for dates on that!

Tomorrow I will show you a couple of alternative designs
