Last Stamp a Stack for 2013

Good Morning! I am sat writing this blog to the sound of silence! I have a rare hour to myself on a weekend!!!!! Last night I ran my last Stamp a Stack for 2013! I was joined by 11 lovely ladies making their Christmas cards!! We had a mix of vintagey style cards and more fresh modern designs and all the cards were CASED from either my lovely Convention swaps or from the internet. This one (Gill's favourite card) was cased from one I found on Google, it was by a lady called Sandi and you can see it HERE. Thank you Sandi!
I havent used the Postcard stamp much although I have coveted many designs with it that I have seen and I also hadnt used the Tag it stamp set which I have had since July as I got it at the USA Convention! Getting it again last week at our Convention reminded me that I should use it!! Also I hadnt used the Postage Due stamp set either, so I used the stamp image also!! All these stamp sets and not enough time!!!
I was really pleased with how this came out, this was probably the lengthiest card of the evening along with Mr Snowman which I will share another day.
What a fab night we had. I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all my lovely ladies who support my Stamp a Stack events, I think 2 of my ladies have been to EVERY ONE that I have run this year - thanks for the support, it's very appreciated.

All the products used in the card are listed below and are available in my Online Store

Tuesday Club Makes

Hi there! I was so busy yesterday with preps for my Technique Club and Stamp a Stack that I didn't get chance to blog! Also I am struggling to get a decent photo these days with the miserable weather and I no longer have a Conservatory (it came in handy to take light and bright photos!).

On Tuesday we made Bags, Tags and Boxes and I decided to "go easy" on the girls and use the pre-made boxes from the catalogues! Think I was a little too easy on them as we were finished for around 9pm instead of 9.30pm!!!

My Tuesday ladies hate  love Punch Art so I had to do the little Santa, he is one of my all time fave Punch Arts!! I was very kind though and punched out all the little bits and bagged them for each of the girls!
Another little gift box, a very simple make!
Love these Chevron bags, very very useful!
And these boxes with the acetate slide of parts have to be my all time faves! Very handy for all sorts and you can fit a miniature wine bottle in if you punch a circle out of the top
Right thats a short and sweet (I hope) post from me today as I must finish preps for our last Stamp a Stack of 2013 tonight!

Manchester Convention 2013

Hey there and welcome back to my blog today. Today I will be sharing details from last weeks Convention. Firstly I would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who approached me to say you love my blog and read every day - it really did touch my heart to hear the lovely things you said. I lost count of all the people whom I spoke to but I remember Irene and Trevor, Baz, Diana from the Netherlands to name but a few - thank you so much and also for your lovely comments on how you love hearing about Evan's dancing!

So this year Convention was ONLY AN HOUR from my house! How fab was that? My hubby dropped myself and Jane my bestie off on Thursday afternoon and the weather was glorious but just a little cold. I think the US Stampin Up staff had prepared themselves for wind, rain and miserable weather so they were pleasantly surprised!
On the Thursday evening myself and 4 wonderful members of my team attended the Silver 2 recception. Here they are with Paula Gorry the Business Development Manager for the UK. This is the first time any of my team have attended this reception as 3 of them got their Silver 2 this year and SJ couldnt make it last year to Convention.
We enjoyed some gorgeous fruit cocktails and then went through to another room where we all got a really useful Stampin Up business folder and matching pen - great for workshops. We had some lovely food, watched demos, listened to speeches and we were welcomed by the Stampin Up Corporate Team.
We were lucky to get sat near the front every time during the weekend and I was so honoured to spend a lot of time walking that stage this year for my achievements during the last year. I am delighted to share with you that again this year I was 3rd in Recruiting, 3rd in Leadership and 5th in Sales - exactly same as last year! Mrs Consistent!!!!!! On a serious note I do want to thank ALL my wonderful team whether they are in my first level or fifth level - we have a wonderful gang and I appreciate them, their efforts and their friendships. To YOU my faithful blog readers, class attendees, workshop attendees, hostesses, customers, and general supporters of my business, without you I would be nowhere! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me to do a job I love so much!
And YES there were freebies! Here is my team really excited to get an All Attendee Giveaway. I have used the blurred picture on purpose as 2 of the smaller items are new products so you cannot see them yet! I also loved this photo as it shows how excited my girls were! Look at little Becky's face (3rd one from left) Love it!
On the Saturday we arranged a group photo! We had 56 from our team attending but only managed to get around 40 of them here. Love these ladies!!!
We also accosted some lovely German ladies to take these photos for us!
And now the bags are all back home, I've unpacked, looked at all my swaps and I will remember the fun times in Manchester!
Next year we are in Brussels on 16-18 October. Would you like to come with me? Join my team and you can tag along!

Convention 2013 was…….

……amazing!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts but I have been absolutely shattered! I got home from Convention on Saturday evening and then had a dance competition all day on Sunday (I know, I know - how did I find the energy?) and then yesterday I went to visit my BRAND NEW NIECE who was born on Friday whilst I was at Convention!! Mollie Grace is a stunner and I am completely in love! I have already fed her, changed her and cuddled her to bits!!!! I see lots of scrapbook pages ahead!

A NEW LITTLE CRAFTER for me to play with and teach!!!!!

So after all that excitement I will report back from Convention tomorrow! LOADS to tell you all but I will firstly share my gifts I made for my first level downline members - I had 28 of them attending!
I bought these lovely tins and then decorated them with the I am Me papers and used MDS to create the labels. Lots of Big Shot rolling for the tins and the name badges.
Not sure making 28 of these suitcases was a good idea but all the girls loved them and I was pleased I did them!
So what was inside? Their name badge for the bags along with the keyrings like the other badges I shared plus a lovely strawberry soap and some Lindor Balls! Who doesn't love a Lindor Ball???
Here they all are ready to go to Manchester and here is my "little" lot of stuff I had to take with me! Thank goodness we weren't flying this time and I was only an hour away!
