More Tea Pots

Hello there and happy Saturday to you. Hope you have got something nice planned. I had a class last night with 6 lovely ladies and I have another class this afternoon too!

Todays card share is one that didn't make the grade for my Tuesday Coffee and Card as I felt the paper that I used for the background was a little bit too fussy.
I still love the design though and it's had some admiration this week from people who have visited the studio.
What do you think? Is it too fussy? Did you prefer yesterdays? Would love to know!

Just a little reminder that I am closing my April Online Code Club off this morning around 10am so please do order before then if you wish to be included, thanks

Tea Pots for Coffee and Card

Hi there. Have you noticed my blog has been spruced up a tiny bit? It was long overdue to have a few changes and I have now incorporated The Paper Haven in the header.

Today I am sharing the card we made this week at our Coffee and Card event. We will also make a slightly easier version of this tonight at my Stamp a Stack event.
I just loved the tea cups and kettles dies as soon as I saw them but I wasn't so keen on the colours of the papers that they were paired with so I decided to put them together with the Love Blossoms DSP stack which I think gives a lovely English Country Garden look to the card.
I happened to get some gorgeous roses this week from the supermarket to decorate my studio and they were perfect to act as a prop for my photos.
The teapot and the inside of the card was decorated with the lovely lacy border stamp from the Grateful Bunch stamp set, it's such a lovely stamp.
I hope you enjoyed this make, it's one of my most favourite ones of this year!

I will be closing my Online Code Club on Saturday morning so if you plan on ordering this month then please do it before 10am on Saturday to ensure you get a gift sent in the post in May!

More from the party

Hello again, I am back today with the rest of the projects from Saturday's birthday party.
We made this simple monster card that again I saw on Pinterest using the Playful Pals stamp set. If you fancy this stamp set and framelits then I would recommend getting them before the end of May!
We also made this cute little doggie which I CASED from my lovely team member Kate when she made them for swaps at our team training event, thanks Kate.
I love how versatile this die is and just how many little critters you can make. Have a look on Pinterest, I am amazed by some of them on there!
And here are all the projects from the party together!
 See you tomorrow!

Playful Pals for a Party

Hey there and welcome to my blog today.
Last Saturday I hosted a little birthday get together for one of my lovely customers. She requested we used the Playful Pals bundle as her grandchildren (teenagers) were attending so we thought this might be fun for them, plus my customer had also purchased this bundle and needed a few ideas!

I saw a card like this on Social Media somewhere and spent ages last week trying to find the original design and just spent another 10 minutes now looking for it but I cannot find it!
It is a cute design in that the elephant is peering through the leaves and then inside the card you see his bottom!!!!
The card was a bit of a labour of love and also used a brand new product that's not available until 1st June! Can you see what it is?
The party went really well and my guests had a fab time! Please do get in touch if you would like me to create a crafty party for you and your friends. Here are a couple of photos of yesterday's event for you.

Boys will be Boys (but not for much longer!)

Hello there. Another Monday again, let's hope it's another week of lovely weather as it makes such a difference to how we feel, don't you think?

Today I am sharing the card we made at our Coffee and Card last week using the retiring stamp set Boys will be Boys. At the time of writing this was still available in both clear and wood with 20% off the original price.
I really have loved this stamp set and have made this card at a number of classes I have run, it's so useful and makes a good quick card if you don't colour the toys in or a lengthier card if you do decide to colour them in!
Ooooh and the ribbon I have used is also retiring too and at the time of writing this post it was also still available and has 30% off!
 See you tomorrow!

Rose Wonder in Navy

Hello again. I am back again today with another Navy number, this time using the wonderful Rose Wonder stamps. Have to say this was my favourite card of the evening. It did take some time to colour in but I hope you will agree it was worth it.
We inked up the large stamp in Versamark ink and then covered it with White Emboss powder which we heat embossed with the Heat Tool, always a wow moment! We then spent a while colouring the rose in carefully with an aqua painter and the ink pads. Can you spot the little triangle that I shouldn't have coloured in?
I love this stamp as it almost covers a full card so you don't need much more on your make!
Back tomorrow with something else to share with you.
Have a great Sunday!
