Loving the Curvy Keepsake Die

Hello there! I was up bright and breezy this morning as I try and get used to the earlier starts with school starting again on Tuesday! Yesterday afternoon I had a lovely time with my bestie Jane again, this time we made boxes!! Jane set to cutting lots of the Curvy Keepsake boxes out for us and we started to make them up. I cut out a few spares as I will be demonstrating this fab die at my upcoming workshops!
This is how the die looks in the packet. You need to cut 2 of the large shape out. The other little shapes are cute tags that you can then use to attach to the die!
This die is PERFECT for wedding favours and looks gorgeous in plain colours with ribbon attached but I went down the "fun" route yesterday after seeing a Santa and a Penguin on Pinterest! I knew I just had to CASE them. So we started with the Santa which was really easy to do and we thought these would look so cute on your Christmas table!
Next came the penguin! He was popular when I shared him on my Facebook Page yesterday!
I then decided to get a bit adventurous and come up with some of my own designs! Here we have an Angry Bird, so so easy to do with the punches.
And finally my absolute favourite! MIKE WASOWSKI!!!!I LOVE Monsters Inc and knew we just had to do Mike!
 Which is your favourite????
If you would like to see a video on how the die works then can I recommend the short video below by Stampin Up, sharing how to put these together!
This die is available now on my Online Store and I cannot wait to see the designs my customers come up with. Talking of customers, I now have a Facebook Group page just for my lovely customers. We share photos of projects and they ask me questions etc.. If you are a customer of mine and would like to become part of my Facebook Forum then you can send me a request HERE

Back tomorrow!

This and That!

Well this week was the last full week of the school holidays and although I have taken time off from running my classes and events I have still been working on my business. I have been planning and designing all my projects for the next few weeks. My schedule from September until early December is action packed and I am really looking forward to seeing my class ladies again! One of them messaged me the other day and said she was looking forward to her "therapy" sessions starting again!

So what have I been up to this week? I thought I would give you a little snap shot into my creative week.
I spent some of my time personalising these welcome packs for new team members who joined last week during the special offer. Welcome to Hayley, Barbara and Katy who all became Julie's Jems this week. I also got into a bit of an argument with the temporary guy working at my usual postage when he wouldn't believe the parcels I were sending were small parcels and charged me for medium ones! Resulting in 3 visits to the Post Office to sort this out! I hate confrontation and arguing but when I know I am right I feel justified to prove my point! Anyway I got the right result in the end and I will be getting a refund next time I am in!
Using the same colour scheme I also worked on our projects for the Paper Haven Weekend Retreat that takes place from 19th - 21st September in Leeds. I do have a couple of spare places if you want to check out my Classes/Events page but I need to know number by Wednesday as I have a meeting with the hotel on Thursday to finalise things and pay the outstanding balance.
I have also spent time playing with the new Christmas products and I am really enjoying the All is Calm set of papers. I love the modern feel and gorgeous colours.
I made some hearts for my Chrimbo decorations too!!!!!
I also perked up a few ladies when I told them as part of their hostess order they would get the stamp set below as the orders were over £200!!! Loving this stamp set which is free with an order of over £200 until end of October! This can be a workshop order or if you were fancying treating yourself it could be a big order all for you!!
We also had our holiday photos delivered and I had a couple of them made into 6x4 collage prints for our Project Life albums.
Last night Evan and I started our Holiday Project Life album.
Well that's a little round up of my week so far. This afternoon I am crafting as I have the house to myself and it's so so quiet! Tomorrow I will tackle the ironing mountain and get all my boys school things ready for Tuesday!

Wondrous Wreath

Good Morning! Before I share some of my crafty makes just a little reminder that today is the last day to join Stampin Up with our Short and Sweet offer - an extra £20 in your Starter Kit. £150 of crafting gorgeousness for only £99!!! Click on the Bingo card below if you want to go for it! I have welcomed 3 lovely new ladies to our Stampin Up family this week and would love to squeeze more in today!!!!
Last Saturday my bestie Jane came over to stamp with me and she stamped lots of these wreaths for us to use! They have been staring at me for almost a week on my desk so I figured I should put them to good use yesterday and make a couple of cards!
Here are the fruits of my labour! I say labour but they hardly took me any time at all as Jane had done most of the work for me!
Here is the traditional version using Pear Pizazz, Old Olive and Real Red for the wreath.
And here is the modern version using Smoky Slate, Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss!
I would love to know which one you prefer?
Well the catalogue went live yesterday and this was quite a popular set on people's shopping lists! Thank you to those of you who sent orders or shopped through my Online Store! It is most appreciated!
