Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween everyone!I made this project for a prize at a workshop I did last night. Lots of lovely ladies attended and I had a really good night. * Waves to any of the ladies who were there!*

I got the instructions for the box from my lovely upline Monica, it is very easy to make and I cased a design that my lovely fellow SU sister Sally made. Thanks girls!!
The box is made from Lavender Lace card stock with Only Orange. The bats are made from the Scallp Square punch and I have used Elegant Eggplant and Pumpkin Pie ribbon.Filled with lots of Dairy Milk minatures!! Yummy!!!
***** I only have 1 space left on my ribbon share, I now have the ribbon here so can post on Monday if you are interested in joining*****

Yummy Yummy

I've been using one of my new sets, Tart and Tangy together with the Summer Picnic Designer Papers that match with them.
I have been feeling a bit miserable with this really freezing weather we have been having. I am one of these people who feels a bit low in Winter!!! I like my sunshine and light nights!!!!!
So I made a quick little invite to pretend I was having a Garden Party for my birthday!!!!!

I have used the Cheers and Wishes set to stamp the Invitation details in Real Red ink. Used my markers in Real Red and Old Olive to colour the strawberry in and punched it out and added to a scallop circle. I also stamped the envelope!!
Its cheered me up a little bit and the sun has even come out this afternoon!!
Got a workshop tonight and a spooky post for tomorrow!!

Another Stampers 10 club

THIS POST WILL REMAIN AT THE TOP OF MY BLOG UNTIL I FILL MY CLUB. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR NEW POSTS!
21/10/08 - UPDATE -WOWSER, WHAT A FAB RESPONSE!!!! I NOW FILLED MY CLUB BUT DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING RESPONSE I NOW HAVE 6 PEOPLE READY TO START ANOTHER CLUB, SO PLEASE MAIL ME IF YOU WANT TO JOIN IN TOO!!!!
Happy World Cardmaking Day everyone!!!
I already have a Stampers 10 club on the go but have had a couple of more enquiries regarding me setting another one up so here goes.
  • With a Stampers 10 club we have 10 members

  • It runs for 10 months
  • Each month every member commits to ordering a minimum of £15 worth of product plus P&P, you order direct through me
  • Each month one of the members is selected as a "virtual" hostess and received the hostess benefits which will be a minimum of a Level 1 hostess stamp set and £15 worth of free products. This is guaranteed but it could be more. This means that instead of having a party in your home we sort of have a "virtual" online party between the 10 members!!!
  • You will receive a free copy of the catalogue

I will also be sending freebies and tutorials over the course of the 10 months.
Stampers 10 is a great way of building up your stash each month without
breaking the bank.
If of course you would like more than one place that is fine, you would have to commit to spending £30 a month but would have 2 months of being the hostess.
If you would like more information, please mail me on julie.kettlewell@ntlworld.com
Happy Stamping!!

Join the Stampin' Up! Family

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since June this year and I am so pleased to have met and chatted online with so many lovely people. Its great to share the love of SU!!! I pondered about joining Su for a good few months and my one regret is not joining sooner!!!
If you are like me and have been contemplating joining up I have a fabbo offer for you that just might tip you over the edge!!!! If you sign up with me between now and the end of the year I am offering a free stamp set of your choice from the current catalogue.
The great thing about SU is that you don't have to conduct any workshops if you don't want to, you can simply become a "hobby" demo and buy products at a discounted price for you and your family or friends. The starter kit is a fantastic kit to get you set up with everything you will need, and costs £139. This might seem alot but you are getting a fantastic £240 worth of product and together with my offer this would be £280 worth of products. It could be an early pressie from Santa!!!
If you want to know a little bit more about it please e mail me on julie.kettlewell@ntlworld.com and I will fill you in or would be happy to give you a ring!!
Stampin' Hugs!!

All in the Family

I had been dying to get my hands on this set for so long!!

There are so many ways you can use it. ONe thing I will advise is that you need a Stamp a ma jig, it will be your best friend!!!

Its my sisters birthday in a few weeks so I thought I would get ahead with my cards and make her one from the boys. So its supposed to be my sister and my 2 boys, Ross and Evan with their Auntie!!!!!

This set is so cute as you get all different bodies and head etc so you really can make a card for anyone.

Dont look too carefully at my eldest sons legs!! They are a bit lop sided!! I promise they aren't like that in real life!!!

Papers used are Sweet Always and the auntie lettering was done with my Big Deal alphabet (great set).

Don't forget my Ribbon Share and my Paper Share and my Club 10!!! lots to remember!!

A romantic Rose is a Rose!

I have been playing with my new stamps today and have really enjoyed using a Rose is a Rose. Its a gorgeous set, crying out to be used for romantic cards or shabby chic contemporary cards. My neighbour over the road is 60 on Wednesday and this is the card I have made for her from her Husband. Bless him, he daren't ask me himself!!! They know I make cards and everything but he is quite a shy man, so his daughter got in touch with me to order it for him!!!!

I decided to make a card in a box and wrap in tissue paper seeing as it is a special birthday

Picture of the box

Inside with the card wrapped in tissue

The card!
The colour cobo is a mixture of Pretty in Pink, Ruby Red, Rose Red, Old Olive and Very Vanilla cardstock for stamping onto!!!!! WHAT NO BROWN I HEAR YOU ASK!!!!!
Used the ever popular Scallop Edge punch and printed the greeting from my computer and then using the Stamp a ma jig I stamped around the greeting with my new Frames with a Flourish set!! Stickled the rose in places with Stardust stickles.
I really hope Alan and Denise (especially) like the card!!
Back later for blog candy result!!

Secret Sister Reveal

During September I took part in a Secret Sister Swap that Michelle at The Card Grotto kindly organised.

I have to make a purchase for the lovely Tara. When I found out I have got Tara I was so happy as I knew exactly what to buy her and as she had just announced her pregnancy I knew the perfect card to make for her.

Now I knew Tara had been tightning her belt with the craft spending due to saving up for baby!!! SO I got her a set of Penny Black stamps as I know she loves her Penny Blacks and also included some Stampin Up papers as I knew she didnt have any SU goodies. The stuff I bough Tara can be found on her blog here
I would like to say thanks to Michelle for organising and also thanks to Maria who bought for me!!
