Upcoming Classes and Events

Hello there! I thought I would take a few minutes to update you with spaces on upcoming classes during July. All of my classes can be found on my Facebook events page HERE or by clicking on the Classes and Events tab at the top of this blog.

A week on Saturday I have my July Crafternoon Tea on Saturday 9th July with 4 seats available. It's £25 for the craft project and a full afternoon tea with pink lemonade, sandwiches, mini savoury tarts, scones, cakes and of course plenty of tea (or coffee)
My catering friend does a fab job of the afternoon tea and I provide the crafts!
On Saturday 16th July I am hosting an ALL DAY BYOP (Bring Your Own Projects) Day. This is just  £10 for your seat for the day and you bring any craft to work on. I have 4 seats available for this day. Alternatively you can ask me to re-do any of the classes I have done recently that you may have missed out on.
The following Saturday (23rd) I have my Foxy Friends product based class in the afternoon. We will make the frame below plus 2 cards and there is a price for the class with the punch and the class with the stamps and punch. All details for booking on can be found on my Classes and Events page
Of course I have all my other regular events in and between. If you would like to book onto any of them just drop me a line on thepaperhavenleeds@gmail.com

Christmas Bear

Today's make is a bit of a hybrid from 2 of my wonderful team members. The doubt z fold card is obviously one I have been making a lot of courtesy of Amanda and the Christmas bear was an idea I got from Julie. So grateful for such talent within our team from all the girls.
This was the 3rd and final card we made at my Baby Bear class. So far 13 ladies have taken this class with me and I have spaces for you to take this class on Saturday 16th July, just email me for details. For the best bear results I have found that Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Sahara Sand work for me and I stamp with the darkest first.  The hat and scarf are from the Snow Place stamp set which carried over from the Autumn/Winter catalogue.
I think this card would be particularly nice as a Baby's First Christmas card, what do you think?
I will be closing my Online Code Club on Thursday lunch time so please do place your Online order before then if you want to receive a free gift in July.

Foxy Z Fold Card

Good Morning and welcome to my blog today. I have so many projects to share with you and catch up on and I am starting with a little Foxy project which I made for our Team Training event a week or so ago. It's a smaller version of the Double Z Fold card shared on my downline Amanda's blog but instead of starting with a piece of A4 you start with a piece of A5 and score on the longest side at 10.5cm and 5.25cm, flip the card and then cut at 10.5cm.
I'm still loving Mr Fox and have a few more projects to share with you yet.
I love the co-ordinating papers too that I have used on this card as well as the Smoky Slate ribbon, in fact there is a a whole lot of love going on for the Foxy Suite in general!
There are just 3 days left of my Online Code Club and then I will close it down to choose some free goodies for you,  I'm looking forward to that!

Baby Card with Baby Bear

Hello there. I decided to take a little day off from my blog yesterday. Saturday was a busy day with a Christmas Card class in the morning followed by a very busy class using the Baby Bear stamp set. I had 11 ladies who came to make Baby Bear cards with me and I must say it was a lovely lovely afternoon. They were all proud of their stamping, and so was I.

I have already shared one of the cards that we made (a couple of weeks ago here) so here is the second card that we made.
I'm loving the new stitched satin ribbon which I used on this card in Blushing Bride. Also available in Pool Party (my fave), Very Vanilla and Real Red.
I'll be back tomorrow with another make from the Baby Bear class.
If you are local to me and you wanted to do this class then I can repeat this class for you on Saturday 16th July. Please message me for more information.

Final Hello Lovely Project Life makes

Hello and Happy Weekend to you! Today is a busy day for me as I have 2 classes at the studio, Christmas Cards in the morning and Baby Bear in the afternoon, lots of fun to be had I am sure!
Today I am sharing the last of my makes using the Project Life Hello Lovely cards.
Today's cards are the busiest ones and the fanciest designs, but are still relatively simple really. Just the added extra of a cut out flower from one of the smaller cards and a couple of die cut circles.
I think this little 10.5cm square card is my favourite out of the whole lot of them, just love the pop of peach and the patterned background.
I thought you might like to see all the cards together. I think in all it took me about 1 hour to make them and most of that time was taken up with deciding what to do, rather than the doing! If you thought that the Hello Lovely Project Life cards were just for memory keeping then I hope I have convinced you otherwise!
 See you tomorrow

Hello! Annual Catalogue 2016 – 2017 Blog Hop Week 4

Welcome to the Hello! 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop!
You'll be hopping around 10 amazing Stampin' Up! © Independent Demonstrators blogs, each with an inspirational project, featuring new catalogue products.

Currently you're visiting Julie Kettlewell from Pudsey, UK. Hello there! You can continue hopping by using the Previous and Next buttons. Now, let's scroll down to see what I have been making.
There have been a few frames of the little critters made with the Fox punch around the blogs, which I too have made myself, but I wanted to make a smaller one just with the Fox. I then had the idea for the F is for Fox using the new Large Letter thinlits and the Labeller alphabet stamp set. The frames are so accessible from Ikea and very very reasonable in price. I am now thinking of all the other critters that I could make. I think this would look perfect in a baby or child's bedroom or nursery.
Little side angle for you to see how it could stand up, or you could of course hang it on the wall.

One of my top tips for making the fox is to sponge the Calypso Coral pieces with some Calypso Coral ink just to make it stand out a little more. I also like to punch the foxes nose from black card stock and draw the eyes on with a journalling pen. The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed that to save paper I cut an aperture in the patterned paper rather than putting some white over the top!
Thank you for visiting today. The next stop is the talented Kylie Bertucci. There's lots of inspiration to find in this group - and you don't want to miss it!
