The set is called Kidoodles and is great for little kids and even big kids cards!! I love a bit of colouring in so this set ticks that box for me!

This is one of the cards we made using the cute Octopus with cupcake stamp!!

Added some bunting which is always good for jazzing a card up!

Hope you like the card, back tomorrow with another one!

Hello there!

Lots of my team have been doing so well with their Stampin Up businesses and I like to acknowledge their achievements with a card, and sometimes even a gift too!

These are the recent batch of cards for my girls! I have used a colour combo of Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Marina Mist and Whisper White. Although when I got to the end of the Old Olive reel of ribbon I reach for another reel and it was Certainly Celery!! Ooopps never mind, it still looks nice!

The background star stamp and the sentiment are from the Sale a Bration Sprinkled Expressions stamp set which you can get FREE with a spend of £45, but ONLY UNTIL SATURDAY 31st MARCH!

The sentiment is cut out with the Large Oval punch and then layered onto the Scallop Oval punch, one of Shelli's Signature collection punches!!!

Hope you like!

Beautiful Bows Class!

On Saturday I held my first Beautiful Bows class. I have another one this coming Saturday too!! It was a lovely sunny day and we sat there with the doors open with the sun streaming in, perfect afternoon!!!!

The ladies all were amazing. I showed them each bow individually first and we made them together, ensuring no one was ahead and everyone had understood how to do it!

Then I gave them their packs and let them loose with making the card with their pre-made bows!!!!

Here are all the cards we made on the day! This is the only one I havent featured on my blog yet, it use the fork bow technique.

We used Everything Eleanor for all the cards and kept the colour scheme fairly simple.

I managed to take a couple of photos in between teaching, helping, gassing (!), washing up and clearing up!!! Here are Yvonne's cards, they look stunning dont they?

And here are my new member, Hazel's cards. Hazel has only been attending our Tuesday Club for 2 weeks and was not a stamper at all. She has done so well in the 3 classes she has been to and I think she is becoming another SU addict like us all!! Well done Hazel I am so proud of you and thank you to the Tuesday girls who have helped Hazel too!

Due to the success of this class I am going to run another date, please watch this space! If you can get a group of at least 6 people together I would happily come and teach this class and provide all the products needed (except glue), including a full reel of ribbon for £14 per person.

The last of the Bunnies!!!!!

Hello there and Happy Saturday to you!!! I will shortly be taking Evan to dancing then I have my Beautiful bow class this afternoon!!

Here is an alternative I made to yesterdays card to turn it into a non-Easter card. I got the idea for putting a circle over the balloon when I saw this lovely card HERE on the lovely Vicki's blog. Thank you for the idea!

I layered up the balloon with an oval on dimensionals to give it that 3D look and I used the Everyday Enchantment papers!! Suffering withdrawals for these papers already!!

I didnt add a sentiment on this one, will add one later maybe.

Inside the card I added the stamp of the little flower pot after seeing Victoria do this in my class, I added a Boho Blossom flower over the egg to make it non-Easter again!!

Hope you like this different take on the same card

Daffodil Wedding!

Hello there

Today I am sharing something a little different. Occasionally friends will ask me to make a special card for them and this is one such occasion! The daughter of one of my dancing friends is getting married in Wales this weekend and she asked for a special card.

I used some of the retired Bridesmaid and Bridegroom papers and made the heart shaped Bride and Groom. The bride is carrying a bouquet including minature Daffodils so I wanted to include these on the card.
THe daffodils were made using the Boho Blossom punch for the back part and the Itty Bitty punch for the trumpet part!

The card was a hit and Susan got a bit emotional!! Lets hope it has the same effect on Saturday!

Scrapbook Club

On Saturday I held my usual monthly Scrapbook Club, the theme this month was Sugar and Spice and we were using girlie colours and cupcakes!!!

I showed you this layout that I made a few weeks ago of the gorgeous Isabelle!! The ladies for all the things in their kits to make similar pages.

I really love the Subtles Glimmer brads they make the perfect toppings on the cupcakes!

I made another page last week on the same theme, this time using photos of me and my little Sister! DO you think I have changed?????

I am still into these flags, really easy to create and they look so effective!

Would you like to make similar pages at home? I have a couple of kits left over that can be yours for £11 collected or £13 posted.

You will get 2 sheets So Saffron 12x12, 1 sheet Pink Pirouette 12x12, 1 sheet Whisper White 12x12, 1 sheet So Saffron A4, 2 sheets of DSP (colours will vary), 8 Glimmer Brads, 2 metres of Pretty in Pink Scallop Dotty ribbon and a whole pack of Diamantes. I will also add some offcuts of paper for the flags, these are not pictured!
Thanks for reading
