More Painted Petals

Good Morning! Today is a bit of a funny day. Ross is in school as normal and Evan has a Review Day which basically means we have to go in for 20 minutes to talk to his teacher and then he has the rest of the day at home! I think I may have to put him to good use in my craft den!

Today’s card is the main card from my Technique Class. I start with a “warm up” card then we do the hardest card in the middle (this one) and then we have a “cool down” card! I have never made one of these box cards until now and I have since made 2 more with different stamp sets.
The colours we have used here are Rose Red, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi and the card stock is Naturals White. Seriously I LOVE this card stock. Its quite rough in texture but has the recycled look about it and its thick enough for making card blanks. Its good value too, £6.75 for 40 sheets!
The belly band around the card slides off, so no need to undo the bakers twine bow.
I would write my message on the back of the card rather than inside the deep part. Its quite hard to write inside it once you have stuck the back panel down.
Would you like a video on how to do this? I will try get one filmed but if you look up Box Card on You Tube there are plenty of videos available out there. Thank you for visiting me today, back tomorrow!
