Watercolour Wings Inlaid Embossing

Good Morning to you. Today I am starting to share the makes from my Technique Club last week. I base the class around one stamp set and this month it was the Watercolour Wings set. These are small teacher led classes and we all work together at the same pace as everyone has their own set included in the cost of the class.
I start the class with a fairly simple card, I call it the “warm up” card and this time I shared the inlaid embossing technique, the stamped butterfly is embossed into the rest of the card for a fun technique.
My next class is on Saturday 26th September and full details will be announced soon.

Hope you like this one, I will be back with a more difficult make tomorrow!

World of Thanks

Good Morning! Today I am sharing the final card from my Stamp a Stack event last week and this one was inspired by a card from Australian demonstrator Kylie Bertucci, you can find her original card design here. Thank you Kylie.
I recently purchased the World of Thanks stamp and I wanted to take the opportunity to use it on this particular session. The colours used are Smoky Slate and Delightful Dijon with a hint of Basic Grey.
A very simple make for you on this dreary Thursday, just looked out and it’s raining again! Today I am pottering about with a bit of crafting and a Skype craft date with my Aussie bestie Sarah! Woo hoo!

See you tomorrow

Garden in Bloom meets Tin of Cards

Hello there! What a miserable day it was in Yorkshire yesterday, it rained almost all day and it just makes you feel fed up when it’s like that - however it is the perfect opportunity to get in the craft room and get creative!

So today I am sharing the fifth card from last weeks Stamp a Stack and its very similar to one I shared last week with you, with a change in the colour of the layer of card behind the paper and the addition of some stamping of one of the flowers from Garden in Bloom.
I’m still loving the English Garden papers and I am on my second pack now! And yes I have cut into both packs! Do you like to just have one pack to stroke and admire??? I used to but I now have to be ruthless!
I think I must be on my 4th roll of Mint Macaron Lace Trim, I just love it and love what it adds to your card.
Hope you like this version and if you have the papers, I hope you have cut into yours too!

Wild About Flowers

Good Morning! Today we have had a slower start to the day. Don’t get me wrong, I was still only up 20 minutes later than I would usually be but I am not rushing about like I would normally be! Had a lovely breakfast with my boys and walked the dog with Evan! Loving the school holidays!

Today I am sharing the 4th card from Friday’s Stamp a Stack. This one was a total CASE from Dawn Olchefske whose blog I have stalked followed for a good few years. I even had the pleasure of meeting Dawn a couple of times at the 2013 Stampin Up Convention and on the Cruise last year.

The card uses the Wild About Flowers stamp set which I didnt initially fancy getting but yet again I saw some gorgeous makes with it (mostly by my wonderful team member Amanda) and I just had to have it!

The card is made out of the Kraft 12x12 cardstock which `I love as it has the authentic “recycled” look about it. I also used the new corrugated cardstock too which is lovely. The thing I love about this stamp set is that you can tailor your sentiments. The words “Congratulations on your” are on a separate stamp and then you have other stamps you can add on the end, such as “new adventure” and “retirement” with other sayings such as “You’ll be misses” and “You’ve earned it” to add inside!
Well I think this blog post has taken me the longest time ever to upload as I have broken off from it countless times but I must crack on!

I have a Code Club running still for the month of July and I will be closing this order down on Wednesday 29th July at 7pm. PLEASE NOTE - my local customers can still take part in this club, you just need to email me your order of £25 or more before Wednesday 29th July.

Circle of Spring

Hey there! Well I had a much needed sofa night last night and a little lie in this morning too! Looking forward to a lazy Sunday with my boys, no cricket and no rugby!!!

Today I am sharing another make from Friday nights Stamp a Stack - 3 down, 3 to go. This one uses the new Circle of Spring stamp set which co-ordinates with the Wondrous Wreath framelits that you may have purchased last Christmas! Now I have to confess I didn’t do such a good job rolling these out through the Big Shot and I think I must have moved them a little - but hey I am human!
I used a colour combo if Bermuda Bay. So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizazz and I coloured the image with the ink pads and the blender pens.
The sentiments in this set are lovely and it’s a really lovely font too, no other stamps were used in the making of this card!
So today I think I will tackle the tidying up of the craft den following my classes.

I have a Code Club running still for the month of July and I will be closing this order down on Wednesday 29th July at 7pm. PLEASE NOTE - my local customers can still take part in this club, you just need to email me your order of £25 or more before Wednesday 29th July.

Floral Wings again

Hello there! Today I am suffering a bit as I somehow seem to have hurt my back and I ache all over. I hate to complain if I don’t feel too good but I think it’s my bodies way of telling me I need a break from my classes, which is good because today is my last class of the summer until September. I am not taking the whole month off from Stampin Up, just having a little break from events. I will still be here working behind the scenes on upcoming events and projects and dare I say it, planning Christmas projects! On that topic, we got to see the new Autumn/Winter catalogue on Thursday - OMG it is amazing and I cannot wait to get creating with it!

So today I am sharing another make from last nights Stamp a Stack. I think this one was my favourite of the six, the colours are right up my street.
I used a new background stamp Dots for Days and of course the hostess only stamp set Floral Wings, available as a free party gift on parties over £150 or with an order of over £150 online, such a brilliant set.
I’m also loving the new Lots of Labels framelits which are making a bit of an appearance on quite a few of my projects
Because I was loving this stamp set so much I decided to send it as the gift for my June shoppers, needless to say I had quite a few very happy emails from lovely customers who got their surprise in the post!
I love sending out these little “Stampin Up Care Packages” as I like to call them and I never tell the shoppers when they are on their way, to increase the surprise!
I have a club running still for the month of July and I will be closing this order down on Wednesday 29th July at 7pm. PLEASE NOTE - my local customers can still take part in this offer, you just need to email me your order of £25 or more before Wednesday 29th July.

Vintage Leaves

Good Morning! Tonight is my last Stamp a Stack of the summer and I will be back on Friday 25th September with the next one, or I have places left at my All Day Christmas Stamp a Stack on 24th October - details on my Classes/Events page.

Tonight we will be making this card x 2 plus another 10 cards (5 more designs) and its a little bit of a break from the flowers and butterflies that I have been creating lately. I used the new Vintage Leaves stamp set and the matching Leaflets framelits. I love the detail on the leaves and think these would be a really useful set to have. Almost makes me wish my boys had an Autumn school project to do!
I also used another new stamp, can you see it? Yes its the Watercolour Wash stamp for the background. A very easy way of creating a lovely water coloured background.
Right thats me off for today down to the craft den. I need to finish final preps for this evening and get things ready for my Technique class tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks to everyone who shopped online with me in June and used my Online Code, your free gift should now be with you! I have now opened a new code for July which is
 JPMMXZDZ
Please use this code when spending over £25 and under £150 on my Online Store.
I will be closing this order on Wednesday 29th July.

Here is a reminder of this weeks Weekly Deals - order going in this weekend!
