Simple card today for you with Pink Passion and Old Olive. Love this PInk Passion card so much, If you do too make sure you order extra before it goes at end of September!!
I used the Melon Mambo ribbon with this, as yo can see they are quite similar so Melon Mambo may become my new Pink Passion!!! The image is from Blooming with Beauty which I have coloured in with my marker pens.

Sentiment from Sincere Salutations and layered up with my Oval punches!!!

Card for Grandad

Hello there!!
I really enjoyed making this card. Its very simple, nothing special but I love making cards from my boys!! I did however get told off by Evan when he saw this!! He said I always do him as the really little one and he is not that little anymore!!! I told him, he always will be to me!!! Was greeted with a tut and a grumble!!!
Used up some of my Sweet Pea paper pack again, colours are Old Olive, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip and Really Rust. Have of course used the Schoolbook Serif alphabet AGAIN!!!! What would I do without this set!!

Also used lots of footballs!! Now that I have discovered they fit perfectly in the 1 1/4 punch there is no stopping me!!!!

So here is little Evan, I must admit he looks a bit like a toddler!!!! Love his curly out of control hair!!!

And here is Rossi!!!!!!
Hope you like it, simple but cute I thought!!!

The last of the Teacher cards!!

PHEW I hear you say, no more teacher cards to show!!!
This one is with Flight of the Butterfly and the same colour combos as before, Rose Red, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink!
I have used the Old Olive Designer papers and the Tiny Tags stamp set also. Decorated the bottom of the card with Tiny Tags and also underneath the butterflies to look like grasses.

The sentiment is from Trendy Trees and punched out with the Word Window and layered onto the scallops!!
Sorry for the short post today!!
Back tomorrow!!

Back to more Live Your Dream!!

Yet more teacher thank you cards!!! Have gone a bit mad with them this year with Ross leaving!!
Here is one for the teacher who he has had for Maths for the last 2 years! She was his main class teacher in Year 3 and is still Ross's favourite ever teacher!!
More Live Your Dream I am afraid! (Are you fed up yet?)
Pretty simple really, scalloped edge of the card. Used the Say it with Scallops for the sentiment and the lovely Rose Red Stitched grosgrain, love it!!

School holidays are here with a bang!!!!
See you tomorrow!!

Rugby Mad!

Morning!!
Promised you something different today so here is a card for one of the male teachers who was leaving my son's school on Friday. Ross has never been in his class but he has been coaching Ross for Rugby for the last couple of years and he always takes an interest in Ross's sporting achievements. Had Ross not been leaving too I know he would have really missed him!
So we made a really quick card in the colours of Leeds Rhinos, his favourites!!! I have to say I was too much in a rush to use the Stamp a ma jig and the text is all higgeldy piggeldy but I wanted it to look like a child had done it!! (yeah right!!!!)

Colours are Brilliant Blue and Summer Sun which I will be stocking up on for all my sport cards when the colours retire in September!
The stamp set is All in the Family and All in the Family accessories and the Just Perfect alphabet!!
Hope you likey!!

The end of an era!!

Oh gosh, this day has been looming for a while and I have to say I am dreading it!! My beloved Ross leaves his lovely primary school. I suppose I just dont want him to grow up and not need me anymore!!!! Its so sad as its such a lovely school and he has done really well there. I know Evan is still there and that keeps me going!!!
So I have had lots of things to make and I did cheat as I made 4 of the bags we made on Saturday so each table had one to copy. I did ask my ladies to take extra care of them as I was going to be using them as teacher gifts!!!
So here is a card to match one of the bags and I will show you the rest over the next few days, please bear with me, it might get a bit boring!
Old Olive and Rose Red combo using Live Your Dream set (again) and the gorgeous Rose Red stitched grosgrain!!
This is the set altogether, Ross took this one in on Wednesday as his teacher job shares and only works Mon-Weds, apparently she really liked it but he cannot remember what she said!!!

The clear bags are just filled with Rose and tied up with more Stitched grosgrain and I have used the tag punches and the Tiny Tags flourish to decorate. The For You is from an old SAB set and I got the little idea from my lovely downline Angela!

Hope I manage to get through the school run tonight without too many tears!! I know I am going to be bad so I am prepared (ish)
See you next time!

Thank You Teacher

For the next few days my posts will all be about Thank You cards. As Ross leaves Primary School he has a lot of thank yous to say but I will share those with you over the next few days!!
So onto a card for Evan's teacher! What can I say, but Evan has had a FANTASTIC year at in Year 2. He has progressed so well its unbelievable and is well above the average marks and we are so pleased!! So a special thank you card was called for !!!
Of course this is my curly haired boy in the middle with the apple for the teacher! Evan chose the wording for the card and I am so please how it turned out!! I actually cheated and I DIDNT use my Stamp a ma jig to do the World's Best lettering, I just did it by eye and WOW I cant believe how level it is!!!! The background is created with the Tart and Tangy set, love this for teachers and I have used Real Red, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie!

I had forgotten to colour his shoes in before I took the photo but I have since coloured them in! I hand drew the apple in his hand and also the apostrophe!

The teacher wording has been stamped with the Big Deal alphabet and then cut out and layered on!

I hope you like this card, its one of my favourites I have made lately!!!

Back tomorrow (v sad day for me, my baby leaves school!!!)

The colour combo is Tempting Turquoise, Pink Passion and Old Olive and the stamp set is Live Your Dream. I cant stop using this set at the moment!
I have also used the Tiny Tags set for the little sentiment, so versatil!!

And here they all are!! I love this colour combo, shame the Pink Passion is going but it is very close in colour to Melon Mambo so all is not lost!!

Just Soccer

Good Morning
Todays card is one I made up in about 10-15 minutes on Friday for Evan's friend Louis. Louis is a MASSIVE football fan and in particular he loves Chelsea.
The Brilliant Blue cardstock is great for these ind of cards and is the perfect blue for lots of teams so I am going to stock up before its discontinued at the end of September!!!!!
I love the Just Soccer set, its only £10.95 and perfect for thise football fans out there, young or old! Of course I have also use my Schoolbook Serif alphabet too!!

The great thing about the footballs is that they fit in the 1 1/4 circle punch so its easy to punch a few extra out and then layer them up!!
I am pleased to say I am getting towards the end of my July wedding orders which should all be finised tomorrow, I cannot wait as then I can have some real stamping time!!

Mr & Mrs Stamp Class

Good morning to you. I am up bright and early today!! Its my new regime, getting up half an hour earlier and getting more jobs done, have done 3 days on trot now!!!
Last night I had my lovely Tuesday ladies round for the Mr & Mrs card class. I decided I wanted to do a special occasion class and with it being the middle of wedding season I decided to do a wedding class!! Here is the box for the card we made.
Bridegroom papers and Very Vanilla ribbon with a lush pearl from the Pretties Kit

I gave the girls some tissue paper to to wrap the card in to make it even more special!!
I have seen lots of these Bride and Grooms made with the large heart punch but decided to have a go at my own and my own card verison to go with it.

I stamped the flowers onto the Bridesmaid papers and added some diamantes from my stash. The bow tie was hand cut and the buttons are brads.

Close up of the Bride and Groom

We also made a gift card holder to go with the card in the same theme.

And here is the whole set together. Was really pleased with this set and I think the ladies loved it.

Hope you like it, if you would like any of the Stampin UP products I have used then please contact me on the email address at the top of this blog
Thanks
