Crazy About You

Hello again and welcome to my blog today where I am sharing yet another card from my monthly Stamp a Stack in October. This card was based on a gorgeous card I saw made by Dena Rekow and you can see her card HERE
I didn’t have the striped background stamp so had to substitute with the Dots for Days background stamp set. I love the colours used on this card and have found a new revived love for Rich Razzleberry lately! And have you noticed the lovely Rich Razzleberry flower has been punched out with the Flower Medallion punch that is conveniently on the Weekly Deals this week! Reduced to £12.00. I have an order going in this evening.
Now before everyone asks where the sentiment is from, its from the Watercolour Wishes kit which is a fantastic kit to make 20 cards and then you are left with this fab stamp set when you have made all the cards.

Last Tuesday Club.......

...for the summer! Yes tonight is our last Tuesday Club for the summer break! We will be back on Tuesday 9th September. This means that my Tuesday Club has now been running for 4.5 years! WOW - we started off as a group of 6-7 in my conservatoire at my old house and we now have an average of 10-12 attend fortnightly at the church hall. Love my Tuesday Club gals, we always have a good laugh!
Today I am sharing a card we made at the Tuesday Club a couple of weeks ago. It's a gatefold card and uses Crumb Cake and Blackberry Bliss and the I Love Lace background stamp.
Have you seen the new satin ribbon? It is stunning and I am so pleased we have satin ribbon back in our offering again, its gorgeous for tying bows and perfect for wedding stationery.
I used my faithful Petite Petals stamps and punch along with a new sentiment set called And Many More which I can see being a go to set for sentiments.
Right then thats me done for today! Today Ross finishes school for the summer so tomorrow is lie in day! Today Mr K is off work as he isn't feeling well - let's hope he doesn't get under my feet too much!

Another bag!

Hello there and welcome to my little blog today! Today I am sharing a project we made at Tuesday Club a couple of weeks ago when I had a Sneak Peek night. It is almost identical to one I shared from the Telford training event except for it's a totally different colour scheme and I have used the small flower from the Something to Say stamp set which was very popular at my launch event last week.
The colours I have used here are Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon with Whisper White.
You can make this from one sheet of A4 card and I promise this is on my list of videos. I need to get this crazy week out of the way this week and then I should be able to get up to date with my videos!
The little sentiment tied onto the handle spins around and has Thank You on the back, just like the original!
Short and sweet (I hope) today folks as I have lots of prep to do for Tuesday Club today plus our Team All Day Training event on Saturday, plus 101 other things including helping organise a Year 6 leavers party at my son's school!!!!! I am sure you get the drift! I'll be back tomorrow!

Bridesmaid Scrapbooking

Hello there! I am VERY late posting on here today because I was looking after my niece and nephew last night and I am shattered. I have had to have a nap as I was up very early for a Sunday morning! I'm not used to it anymore! They were very good though to be fair and it was nice to look after a baby for one night only!

Yesterday I ran my scrapbook club alongside my Technique Club and the theme this month was the Watercolour Wonder suite. When I was deciding what photos to use I thought I would use some of me when I was little as my Mum recently gave me lots of old photos. Whilst flicking through them I found some snaps of when I was a bridesmaid for my Aunty Marlene and my dress was peach, or Crisp Cantaloupe in Stampin UP colours, so my decision was made for me. I created a floral framed border using the Petite Petal stamp set and Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe and then added a square of the DSP.
The photos are from 1980 and already had the rounded corners which was nice. I think these may be snaps someone took as the photographer posed us for photos. I am the taller of the dark haired bridesmaids.
The photographer and his tripod were actually in the photo on the right so I covered him up with some roses from the Stippled Blossoms stamps. We did have a laugh at class yesterday at the expense of Julia who tried endlessly to stamp those small flowers with the Stamp a ma Jig! We got her sorted in the end though!
I love the Feels Good stamp set, it has some lovely phrases and a nice font.
I think my page needs something else on the bottom left but I decided to leave it and come back to it at a later date when I have decided. You can always add extras to it but you cannot remove them once you have stuck them down!
Right I think another nap is in order as I am going out dancing tonight and I am not sure if I will stay awake let alone be able to dance!
