I Love Lace

Good Morning and Happy Friday to you! Today I am not sharing Christmas makes. To be honest I have been making Christmas cards since August and by this time in the year I am MORE than ready for some new products! I am happy to report a rather large box of new Spring/Summer and Sale-A-Bration products arrived last week for me to come up with some lovely makes for you all.

Today I am sharing a make from way back that I never shared with you. We made this at one of my Stamp a Stacks before we got all Christmassy!

 The card blank is Lost Lagoon with a layer of Smoky Slate and then the I Love Lace background stamp stamped in Lost Lagoon. Look at the detail on the stamp, I just love it! So beautiful!

 The For You is one of my favourite sentiments at the moment from the Tag Talk stamp set punched out with the Label Bracket punch and then mounted onto a Smoky Slate flower punched from the Blossom punch.

Blendabilities

Good Afternoon! I am late posting today as I had a lovely lie in following a night out that we organised for our son Ross’s Kenya Trip next year. We organised an 80’s disco night for our friends and family at the local cricket club and had a great night. Thanks to all who attended.

On Thursday I sat down to make a card for my Mother-in-Law’s birthday on Friday. I usually watch TV on my iPad whilst I am crafting, love catching up with my favourite programs! I stamped the Blended Bloom stamp in Memento ink and decided to use the Rich Razzleberry Blendabilitie pens.

 It’s a big image to colour but very therapeutic when you are colouring it. I do apologise for these photos, they were taken on my iPhone just as snap shots and I had already sent the card before I remembered to take some photos on my good camera!

 So this is a little snapshot of how the finished card looked. I used the I Love Lace Background stamp which I absolutely love.

Downline Gifts!

Good Morning! Whilst you read this I am still in Brussels for the Annual Stampin Up Convention whilst Mr K is at home looking after the boys and the house!

Here are the gifts I made for my first level team members who were attending Convention. I must admit I have been on a bit of a gold roll these last few days and I have to say I have been singing Goldfinger a lot!

 I bought these note books from Paperchase and they are great for covering. I used some Very Vanilla and stamped the I Love Lace background stamp in gold onto it.

 I also used my new Four Feathers stamps and frame lit dies and I embossed the larger feather in gold embossing powder. You can see this in better detail on the last photo.

 This is Jane's book, she is my bestie and I am so happy to be travelling with Jane, Sharon and Sarah-Jane.
