High Tide Watercolour Card

Hello there and welcome to my blog today! I am very excited to share todays make with you as I just LOVE it. I must say the High Tide set wasn't on my initial list to purchase but I saw a particularly lovely project by our team member Julie Wade here and I just had to have it.
Since then I have enjoyed creating with it and ran a class on it last week and as mentioned on Monday I have a class in the post now available using this stamp set.

I have used a brand new product on here which is the gorgeous wood effect paper in the background, going to be very very popular and cannot wait to show you more with this in the coming weeks! I stamped the sand and sea directly onto the Watercolour paper but the lighthouse was stamped separately and then raised up with dimensionals. I then washed over the sea with the aqua painter and then added some sky with the Dapper Denim ink pad and the aqua painter.
I decided I needed a sentiment and punched out a circle which I also washed with the ink and aquapainter and then added the sentiment once it was dry. I love this part of my card the most!
