Spotty Work of Art

Good Morning to you, hope you are well! We are gradually getting back into the swing of being back at school with a forgotten lunch already yesterday (and this was from the boy who has been at high school for 4 years already!!!) and a lost £5 note (which was a deposit for a locker!). I must admit I still keep looking at my watch on an afternoon but I no longer have to do the school run as the boys walk home together, I am finding that a little bit strange but enjoying the extra time I have.

The last couple of days have been busy and I am enjoying being back in full work mode! On Tuesday evening we had our Team Training and then this was repeated yesterday morning with more ladies coming for Training. We welcomed some new ladies to training who have recently signed up and it was great to see so many attend. We made some paper samplers for us to use at our events to show off the papers, we all know most crafters like to shop with their hands!

So enough rambling, here is a little card I made ages ago but never shared with you! I have to say I LOVE all things spotty and dotty, in fact my friend Wendy calls me Dot because of it! This card was really easy to put together using the Work of Art stamp set which I have neglected lately in favour of all the new Christmas goodies!
The colours I used are Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush with a little Baked Brown Sugar.
Here is a little snippet of how our paper samplers looked and all the paper I had to cut for training. The samplers on top are missing the name tags but you can get the idea!
Talking of paper, now that I am back in full working mode would you be interested in a paper share? Full details to follow but please email me to register your interest - thank you

5 Years and counting......

Hello there! No blogging from me yesterday as it was a bit of a whirlwind day! The boys were back at school and I had Team Training last night so I was a busy bee getting ready for that! What a lovely night we had! Talking of my team, I was absolutely delighted to celebrate the 5th Stampin Up Anniversary of 2 of my team members in the last week. Kate was last week and Lynda was yesterday so I had to wait until today to blog the photos of the cards I sent them.
You have seen one like this before but I used the word Friend across the middle. I thought this time it would be nice to stamp the girls names and seeing as they are short names I was able to use the Epic Alphabet. I am particularly chuffed that the celebrate Kate rhymes (it's the little things!).
I love love love this gold satin ribbon and am on my last half reel which should be rectified today when Mr UPS arrives!!
I am so so proud of both these ladies. They both have very different businesses but both have lasted the distance and enjoyed being part of the Stampin Up family, indeed they are both very good friends with each other!
I have been scrolling back through my old Convention photos and found this photo of myself with Kate (left) and Lynda (right) and thought it very appropriate for the occasion!
Thank you ladies for being a part of our team, I am so honoured you choose me to be your upline and look forward to more fun times that we will share!

P.S If anyone is every doubtful about joining Stampin Up and whether it is for you take a look at Kate's wonderful blog post from last week, yes it made me cry!

It's September!

Today marks the start of the "Ber" months! I quite like September, the weather is usually still OK, the nights aren't too dark yet and it marks the start of a new school year and a new season of classes and events for me.

Above is my classes and events calendar for September. I am really looking forward to getting back into my classes and events. Whilst I have enjoyed being at home and spending time with my boys over the holidays I am ready to see my lovely ladies again and share all the wonderful products from the new Autumn/Winter catalogue ( and there are lots!)

If you would like to book onto any of my September events please do contact me. I will also be updating the calendar on the sidebar with classes going right up to December.
