Playful Pals for a Party

Hey there and welcome to my blog today. 

Last Saturday I hosted a little birthday get together for one of my lovely customers. She requested we used the Playful Pals bundle as her grandchildren (teenagers) were attending so we thought this might be fun for them, plus my customer had also purchased this bundle and needed a few ideas!

I saw a card like this on Social Media somewhere and spent ages last week trying to find the original design and just spent another 10 minutes now looking for it but I cannot find it!

It is a cute design in that the elephant is peering through the leaves and then inside the card you see his bottom!!!!

The card was a bit of a labour of love and also used a brand new product that's not available until 1st June! Can you see what it is?

Simple boys card

Hello there! Another week and another Wednesday is here already. Check out the bottom of my post for this weeks Weekly Deals. 

Today I am sharing one of the makes from last weeks 10 for £10 class. The classes went really well and I welcomed 17 ladies over 2 classes to make 10 cards each. I have had some great feedback and will be looking to schedule more of these soon.

We made 5 different designs, 2 of each design and this one was designed with a young man in mind. These are really easy to put together using an A6 card blank and 3 pieces of paper that measure 14cm x 3cm. The balloon punch certainly got a lot of action but I actually prepped everything for my ladies in advance. See the photo further down.

 I worked the ladies hard but they did go home with 10 cards each from a couple of hours efforts

Birthday Pedal Pusher

Hey there how are you? I'm getting back into the blogging now that things are settling down with work this week. I wish my house was as clean and tidy as my craft studio but I am sure we will get there soon! 

On Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning we had our Monthly Team Training events and I had the pleasure of welcoming 20 of our team to my new place. It felt so relaxing to be finally in there running events and I got some great feedback. Today I am sharing one of the cards we made at training to showcase the new Pedal Pusher stamp set that is now available as a free gift with a spend over £45 until the end of this month.

I stuck with the colours from the It's My Party DSP stack as my inspiration for this card and I was also inspired by a number of cards I saw on Pinterest with balloons tied to the bicycle.

Good Morning to you! It's trying to snow ever so slightly here but I am hoping it will not come to much as I have an event this morning with my team! 

Today I am sharing another card from the Stamp a Stack last Friday evening. This one was an extended version of my swaps from team training back in January. I used the Playful Pals stamp set and created another lion card but this time I added paper from the Wildflower Fields DSP stack that is free with SAB until the end of the month.

 I really enjoy making these cute lion images and I showed this card to my two year old niece Mollie and asked her what it was and she told me it was a tiger! That will do for me!

 The sentiment is from the useful Suite Sayings and all the items used are listed at the end of my post. I have had a couple of people ask me for this months Online Code and I have set this up today and all details are below. Botanical Gardens

Hello there. I am very late up this morning as we had a much needed lie in. Our son Ross has got a temporary job for Christmas and it involves a very late (or maybe I should say early) pick up. It takes it out on all of us as I can't really get to sleep properly until I know he is home! A sign of things to come I suppose! 

Today I am sharing a card we made at my last Stamp a Stack of 2015. The paper, dies cuts and flower stamps are all from the Botanical Gardens range, the words are from another stamp set called Suite Sayings. 

 This is an amazing bundle in the new catalogue and I cannot wait to share more of it with you. I will be including the whole bundle (stamps, dies and papers) in my Retreat Day goody bags. I have 2 new DAY RETREATS that have gone live for booking. These will be limited to 10 people and I have one on Wednesday 23rd March and another on Saturday 26th March.
