Male themed make!

Good Morning to you all and a very Happy Sunday! There was no blog for me yesterday as I was preparing for my second audition for a local production of Made in Dagenham, fresh from the West End last year. I am thrilled to say that I am back out of my little theatre retirement and will be playing the role I really wanted, Beryl the factory worker (the one punching the air at the back!). I am so excited to start rehearsals but have to wait until September. I hope you will be able to come along and see the show which runs in March 2017 in Leeds.

Anyway back to crafting! Today I am really pleased to share a card with you that we made at my Tuesday Club a couple of weeks ago. We had a male themed class and I saw a card very similar to this on the lovely Denita Wright's blog. I love Denita's blog and you can see the original card HERE
The card took a bit of work to complete. First we had the watercolored background which needed time to dry and then the girls had to stamp, colour and cut the car. The caravan was slightly trickier. We stamped it on Pool Party and then again on Whisper White and cut out the door and the window and then stuck them on top of the Pool Party version. Hope that makes sense.
Now you have to allow a little artistic license on this card as the caravan is not very big in comparison to the car but I think it makes a really fab combo and a perfect card for a caravan owner or beetle lover.
One of my lovely ladies asked if she could use some number stamps as she wanted it as an 80th card so I came up with the idea of adding them on the side of the car to make it look like Herbie! She also added the cute dog and flag and I think it looks amazing
I have sold quite a few of the Beautiful Ride stamp sets since making this card. It's one of those sets that doesn't automatically jump out at you but its so useful!
See you tomorrow, have a great day

CASED from Convention

Hello there! So last months Stamp a Stack was very much a case of CASE-ing! CASE-ing means that you use other peoples designs for inspiration. Some people say it means Copy and Share Everything but I have also heard it called Copy and Selectively Edit! This card was CASED from our Annual Convention in Brussels and I just changed one thing about it, the card base.
I chose to use the Naturals White card as I like the thickness of it for card blanks plus the recycled look of it too. The stamp set used on this project is called Kinda Eclectic. It’s what I would call a bit of an arty farty type set and I really enjoyed making this card as well as the projects at Convention. Any stamp set that has a dotty background stamp is a hit with me!
The colours on this card are all from the new In Colours with the exception of the piece of Crumb Cake. I love the autumnal look of them together with just a small burst of Blackberry Bliss.
Hope you enjoy my little autumnal make today!

Short and Sweet signing up offer!

Good Morning! Phew I was a busy bee yesterday! I spent a great deal of the day making up Team Welcome Packs for my recent lovely ladies who joined my team of Stampin Up demonstrators. I will admit I am a little behind with these due to illness in July and then our family holiday combined with the school holidays. So yesterday I set myself the task of creating them. Here is a sneak peek of the cards I made to go with them! NOW - I do have a couple of extra sets for anyone wanting to join my team in this next week with our fabulous Short and Sweet offer that we have! Would you like one too?? Please get in touch with me about joining Stampin Up. For one week only its £99 and you choose £150 worth of product in your Starter Kit!
I cannot blog today without sharing some new makes with you all. This is a card I made whilst at my lovely friend Sarah-Janes house a couple of weeks ago. I took my Blendies with me as I have been enjoying using them and they are very portable to take around with you with a few stamped images.
I coloured the Blended Bloom stamp which I thought would be a little daunting but once I got going it was fine. I used Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight for this card, along with Crumb Cake and Crisp Cantaloupe for the remainder of the card.
I did CASE this card from a lovely demonstrator called Lyssa Zwolanek who I have followed for a number of years and had the pleasure of meeting on the cruise in May. You can see Lyssa's card HERE Thank you for the inspiration Lyssa!
I am in the process of booking in some dates for colouring classes with the Blendabilities so please keep an eye on my Classes and Events page for dates. Hope you like my make today and if you have any questions about the joining up offer and being part of our Stampin Up family please do let me know.

Kinda Eclectic with the Banner Framelits

Hello there and Happy Sunday to you? Have you seen the Weekly Deals this week? A few bargains on there for you, including my favourite offer of the Banner Framelit dies for £17.21 instead of £22.95.

I made a card up this week to show off the framelits after borrowing this stamp set from my lovely downline! We get this one included in our bag at Convention so I am holding out to get my own set then!
I used only Sahara Sand card on this with a little bit of Rose Red ink for the butterfly and then sentiment. All the stamps used on this card are from the Kinda Eclectic set with the exception of the Hardwood background stamp.
I am quite pleased with this little make, looking forward to getting my own set in a few weeks at our European Convention.

Have a happy rest of your weekend whatever you are up to!
