Last day of SAB 2017

WOW! It's the last day of Sale-A-Bration 2017 and I am here to share one last project with you with one of the free items. Unfortunately the Glitter Card that is also on this project has now run out so is no longer available! 

 So can you see the lovely sparkly Bermuda Bay ribbon? Well I saw that a lovely demo France Martin had dyed her ribbon so I thought I would have a go by running it through my ink pad. The card was made by stamping all over with stamps from the Flower Patch stamp set, a set I haven't had out on my credit desk for a while but one I had to use after receiving a lovely card from my team member Allie. You cannot see from these photos but we also stamped the back of the card, the whole A5 piece was stamped which kept my Coffee and Card ladies out of mischief for a good while.

 I really enjoyed making it so I made another 2 as Mother's Day cards, the one on the right has ribbon dyed with Flirty Flamingo ink

 Here are all 3 together. We will be making a similar one this evening at my Stamp a Stack event, just without the ribbon!

Flower Patch

Hello there. I missed blogging yesterday as my son has been using my laptop for his revision and he has to take priority at the moment. This week has been his worst week for exams as he has had 5, well I say had,  at the time of writing this he is just on his way to school and will do 3 exams today!

Today I am sharing a card we made at my Crafternoon Tea event and at a private class I did last Friday. This was a popular card and some of my ladies have since purchased the stamps and dies as they loved them so much. A relatively simple card which was inspired by a card my team member Kylie made a couple of weeks ago.

The trickiest thing about this set is getting the stamps and dies lined up correctly to roll them through the Big Shot. I have written a T on the top of my stamps and a T on the dies so that you know which is the correct way to stamp and roll.

Flower Patch Card in a Box

Following on from yesterdays Flower Patch Technique Class I am back with a co-ordinating project that we also made in the same class. These Card in a Box projects have been very popular all over blog land and once you get going with them they are fairly easy to create and make a big impact.

This one matched the project yesterday but with the addition of some Typeset speciality papers. 

 The sentiment does say Happy Blooming Birthday but due to the angle of the card you can’t see it properly!

Short post from me today as it’s a scheduled post as today I am in Blackpool at the Winter Gardens dancing at the Grand Finals. Fingers crossed we do OK again this year!

Another Flowerpot card

Carrying on with the Flowerpot theme I am here with another card in a totally different colour combo with a different stamp set too, but the same flowerpot template and style. This was a card we made at my Technique club in September and we used the Flower Patch stamp set and framelit dies, a popular purchase as it is discounted as a bundle!

The colours used are So Saffron, Hello Honey, Blushing Bride, Rose Red, Pear Pizazz and Old Olive.

I also showed the girls how to make a matching envelope using the Envelope Punch Board

A few necessary rhinestones were added to the centres of the flowers to add a little bit of sparkle!
