Baby Girl card

Good morning! I'm up and about after last night's lovely workshop at Rachel's house, thanks for your orders ladies! Not feeling too well today and Evan isn't right either so we are having the morning off from dancing and I am going to take it easy until my classes this afternoon!

Do you remember the baby boy card I shared last weekend? Well here is the girlie version that I sent to a former wedding client of mine who recently had her first baby.

This time I couldnt do the babies name across the middle as it was more than 4 letters so I decided to scale her name down and do a mini version on bunting across the bottom left corner.

I inked the edges of the tiny bunting.

And here are both cards together

Hope you like them both? I am going to key last nights order and then take it easy for a couple of hours.

Baby Collage Card

Good morning! Its another miserable day weather-wise here today so I am cheering myself up every time I look at the Daffodils just coming out on my kitchen table! I LOVE daffodils, my favourite sign of Spring!

Todays card is one I only made yesterday for a girl at dancing who has had her first baby! As you can see he is called Jack which made it alot easier when putting his name on!!

Lots of little elements using the Bundle of Love and the Aviary stamp set together with some punched elements too.

The colours are Pool Party, Crumb Cake and So Saffron, with Very Vanilla as the neutral.

I am giving this to Jack's great-Grandma to pass on to them today - hope they like it!

Aviary Final Part

Hello there

I am back today with the last of the Aviary cards. This one is a Criss Cross style card as we havent done one of these for a long long time!

Fairly self explanatory I think, using the same colour combo as the other cards.

Inside we stamped various birdcages at varying heights and I added a couple of flowers.

The arty farty angle!!

And here are all 3 cards from the class together! Hope you have enjoyed my Aviary offerings!

Aviary Part 2

Good morning!! Friday again, can't believe it!!!

I am here with another card from our Aviary class on Tuesday night. This card was my favourite and I know it was popular with a lot of the ladies.

Lots of cutting out on this one, we needed 8 of the little owls, they are my favourite part of this stamp set! Just love them - really cute!

We had a little stack of owls on the sentiment and we had a "totem" of owls on the ribbon.

Inside the sentiment said "to make it better" with another little cutie inside!!

We added a luscious bow in Bashful Blue!

NOW - following feedback from my lovely ladies it is apparent that LOTS of them have "Bow Phobia"!!!!! And often look at other projects with "Bow Envy"

I am running a class on Saturday 24th March called Beautiful Bows - the cost is £14 and will include a FULL reel of Satin ribbon (RRP £6.75) which has 13.7 metres so you will have plenty left to take home. We will make 5 cards and I will teach you 5 different techniques.

Also on this session I will be having a couple of tables filled with all my retired products and stamp sets. The ladies in the Beautiful Bow class will have FREE access to this but I am also allowing customers who are not attending class for a fee of £5. For your £5 you can browse my items, make a card, have a cuppa and make those last minute purchases from the Sale A Bration promotion! Please message me to book a place on either event! It starts at 2pm

Aviary Part 1

Hello there!! Im just having my morning coffee before the days jobs begin! Last night I held a lovely workshop for BEryl and her gang!! They usually have 3 workshops between them a year and its always great to catch up!! Thank you for your orders girls and see you next time!!

On Tuesday night we used the Aviary stamp set! I have to confess this was one I was REALLY happy about when I saw it in the catalogue last October. I had to wait until November to get my hands on it as I got it free at Convention as one of my prizes. I have to say and I dont know why but I have hardly used it!!! Shock horror!! So I decided we would use it at Tuesday club this week.

The colour combo (which I am really pleased with) I selected is Wild Wasabi, Wisteria Wonder, Melon Mambo and Bashful Blue, with some Basic Gray for stamping with. We had a new lady, Hazel join us for this class - Hi Hazel, really pleased you enjoyed the class, see you next time!!

This card is a Z fold card with lots of punching of the little flowers from Itty Bitty punches, I love this little flower - perfect for adding the finishing touches.

The vines and leaves were created with a stamp from the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set.

And of course we had to have some decoration inside!!

I will be back tomorrow with another Aviary make -my favourite one and one that lots of the ladies loved!!

If you see anything you like on my blog and would like to order the products please do get in touch. I am placing an order tomorrow evening and could add your wishes to it!!!!!!!

Stamp a Stack part 4

Hello there!! Late post again from me today!! Tut tut!!!

Here is another card we made at the Stamp a Stack event. This one features the cute Aviary set. Its a set I was desperate to get my hands on and I actually earned it free at convention to reward me for Recruiting, but like everything I havent used it as much as I wanted to!!!

The colour combo is Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and the ever versatile Pool Party. I just love how Pool Party works with all the colour families, here with the Brights!! Looks great with the Subtles (my cupcake class) and with the Regals and Neutrals (Spice Cake papers)

The sentiment is from Petite Pairs, I just love this set!

The punches I have used here are the largest circle 1 3/4 inch and the NEW Scallop Circle punch from the Mini (which ends 30th April 2o12)

Thanks for looking

Jules

Aviary Cards

Good morning! Today's the day, I am on my way to Convention! Travelling with my lovely downline Shazza, Jill and Nicky and meeting up with the rest of our team at Disneyland Paris - there are 18 of us in total!!!!!

Today I am sharing a couple of cards with a stamp set I really hoped we would get, but I dont actually own it yet!! You see, I am earning this set free from Stampin Up as a reward and will collect it in Paris! My lovely friend Jane lent me her stamp set so I could at least make some samples up with it - thank you Jane!

The first card is teamed with the Flirtatious papers. The orange mat behind the image is one of the laser cut pieces of paper which I have cut out.

The next card was inspired by one I saw at our Leeds Stampin Up Training event back in September! I just loved the card so I copied it!

I used the new In Colors on this one

And the new Large Lace Border Punch

Right thats me off for now, I will hopefully be back tomorrow with a scheduled post!
