Good Morning! Phew what a windy night it was last night - happy to see our fence is still vertical this morning!
We have a saying in our house - "Stampin' Up! - handy for homework!"
Our youngest son often gets larger pieces of homework to complete during the school holidays called Learning Log. He gets it every holidays and it is always left until the last few days. This time he had to work on an animal and write about how it adapts to its environment. The brief with these learning logs is that they have to be creative and colourful! This is where Stampin' Up! comes in, we DO creative and colourful - yes?? So we decided to do the Penguin as I knew we could make them from the owl punch!
On Friday afternoon we set about creating the little critters. Evan was in charge of gluing the feet on and I had the hard task of cutting the ears off and then adding them back as the wings!!
We made 12 of the little cuties!
And here is out finished piece of work. I say our because I think I did as much work as Evan but we enjoyed doing it together!
As well as having fun we also learned lots of facts about Penguins too!
Lets hope we get a gold star!
We would love to know what you think of the piece of work - especially any teachers, then I can show Evan your comments!
Back tomorrow with a card!
