Creation Station Gifts from the Garden

Hello there and welcome to this months Creation Station Blog Hop, you may have joined me from my lovely friend and fellow UK demonstrator Mikaela's blog or you may have come direct to me. Either way I hope you will stay with us for the hop. This month's theme is Gifts from the Garden and although I intended to do something a little more adventurous than a card, time as usual ran away with me so I am here with just a card. It is my birthday today (hooray) and I have received some amazing cards in the post, one even came from Utah from a lovely Stampin Up employee Donna. So although I am "just" sharing a card today, I will never underestimate the power of a handmade card in the post!
I wasn't sure whether to get the Jar of Love stamp set but after seeing many gorgeous creations I succumbed and made my purchase. We made this card at my Stamp a Stack event last week and the ladies loved this one. The jar was stamped with Stazon ink onto Shimmer Card and then cut out and we scribbled some Soft Sky ink with an aqua brush to create the look of water in the jar.
The cards at this event have to be fairly simple as my ladies make 2 of the same card in 30 minutes so I like to make them visually appealing but easy to replicate. I hope this one passed the test for that! I love the new ruched ribbon, or as one of my lovely customers calls it, wrinkly ribbon! It's so cute for tying a little bow.

Please take some time today to follow onto my friends on the rest of the blog hop by clicking on the Next button you will be visiting my colleague Kathy.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Jems Blog Hop for July

Hello there and welcome to my blog and to our team blog hop where 12 of us will share some Stampin' Up! makes with you on a theme of Animals this month. You may have joined me from the very talented Amanda's blog or may be just starting with me? Either way there is a list at the end of the this post of all the blogs on the hop and you can use the next and back buttons too.

Now I am sharing a new stamp set for me today! I wasn't going to purchase the Bella and Friends set but a couple of my customers purchased it and then I saw some lovely lovely swaps by my team member Rebecca and I just had to purchase it. This is one of the cards my ladies will make today at my All Day Stamp a Stack.
The little doggy, Bella, was coloured in with Smoky Slate and a blender pen and then I scribbled around the image with an aqua brush and the Soft Sky ink pad.
The stamp does have a balloon image but I punched a larger balloon out with the punch and then added some flowers from the Weather Together bundle.
I think she is a little cutie and can't wait to make more with the set.

Please continue on the hop with my lovely team members

Baby Bear Baby Card

Yippee it's Friday and it's also the start of a brand new month. The end of the school year is in sight and my boys have 3 weeks left until they break up, which is very much needed.

Today I am sharing a card I made for a lovely new friend whom I have met through having my new studio. Hazel recently had a lovely baby girl so I made this card for her. Hazel owns the Rainbow Factory which is a wonderful interactive storybook play centre in one of the units on the same site as my studio. I love this place and have been to many of their events with my nephew and niece.
I also gave my friend the gift of Project Life and put her together a little starter pack of Project Life items so that she could make a start on her album for baby, which I am pleased to say she already has!
I'm still loving Baby Bear but I think I have run out of projects for you now using it! I had better remedy that quickly!
