Thank you Anne

Hey there and Happy Tuesday. It's all go here today as I finish my preps for Team Training tonight with 17 lovely ladies and a repeat Team Training tomorrow with another 12 lovelies!!!! Love our get togethers. Today I am sharing a card I made for Anne, one of my regular hostesses, club members and general super supporter of my business! She is the tops! I made this card to thank her for hosting her recent party (the one with all the cakes!).
I am still clinging on to these gorgeous Sale-A-Bration colours until the promotion ends on 31st March.
Still loving my Scallop Tag Topper punch too, keep reaching for it off the shelf all the time and then I wonder what we ever did without it!
Short and sweet today whilst I crack on with the preps! See you tomorrow

Stamp a Stack make

Hello there, sorry for the absent blog post yesterday! My youngest and I had our Ballroom and Latin exams yesterday morning. We had to leave the house at 8.30 and got back about 1pm. I was pooped when I got home and have to confess to having an afternoon nap!!!
Today I am sharing a card we made at the All Day Stamp a Stack in February. Lots of the ladies were stumped as to how I created the dotty background? They were looking for a stamp in the box! What they overlooked was a pencil with a rubber on the end and you tap that into your ink pad and then stamp away! I had to go all the way to Utah to learn that trick!!! No joke!
I love the subtle look of the spots of Crumb Cake onto Crumb Cake and the bunting is always a winner!
I have had so much use out of the Fresh Prints DSP stack. Amazing value and great for cardmakers.
I get a lot of people asking about Evan's dancing so I thought I would finish with a photo of him at yesterdays exams. He has almost been dancing for 4 years now. We are very proud of him and how he has stuck at it! Well done Ev!

A Sad Time

Hi there! I am purposely late posting today as I have been getting ready for my classes this afternoon. I have a rare morning off from dancing as Robin has taken Evan so I have had time to get things ready and my craft room tidied up after last night's Stamp a Stack. Thanks to the ladies who attended, the next one is Friday 21st March.

I must admit I have been toying whether to share today's card with you but I decided that I cannot only blog about the good times and the happy things but I have to share the sadder times, as that is a true reflection on life. Last week I had a phone call from the husband of one of my distance downline members, Doreen, to tell me she had suddenly passed away. This was a huge shock to her family and to us, her Stampin Up family. Doreen lived in Scotland and I hadn't seen her since April when she came down to training but we were in contact on email and Facebook. She was also the busiest pinner on Pinterest I have ever known.
Doreen was just the loveliest person, great sense of humour and we always had lots of banter every time she came down to training. I made this card to send to Doreen's husband and family. Yet again this sad occasion is a reminder that life is precious, cherish every moment and tell those you care about that you care about them.
Sleep tight my wee Scottish Lassie! xxx
