Friday Sketchers

My friend asked me to make her 2 cards for her hubbys birthday today. One from her and one from the kids! I decided to do the Friday Sketchers card for the Dad card

I love this All in the Family set from Stampin Up, you can build people up and match their characteristics, like Lucy wearing glasses!!!! The colour combo is Tempting Turquiose, Green Galore, and Gable Green. Stars from the Stampin Up star punch and papers are Rainbow Sherbert.

She liked the cards when I gave her them, so I will show you the husband card tomorrow!

Lovely sunny day here today and we are stuck inside building a new bed for my little boy!

Mini Launch Night

I had a fab evening last night with 5 of my lovely customers, thanks for coming girls if you are reading this!!! We laughed and had a fab time, unfortunately my 9 year old son hates us all this morning as we were crafting right underneath his bedroom so he was still awake at 10pm!!!!

Of course it is now expected that I bake something so I quickly whipped these little buns up at 4pm yesterday, a very quick job, nothing too fancy!!!!

I gave each of the ladies a little goody bag with a Mini catalogue, a piece of each of the new ribbons and some patterned papers.

Here is my table with the display of cards made with the new products from the mini catalogue and also some of the products on offer for ordering!

And finally, no evening would be complete without a prize draw!! This is the contents of the goody bacg I put together and it was claimed by the lovely Debbie, well done Debs!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

This weeks challenge on the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog is to make a Spring type card. I went for this little image of the cute hedgehog and I have coloured it in with my Stampin Up inkpads and a blender pen (available through me!!!!!!!)

The colour combo is Pretty in Pink, So Saffron and Certainly Celery and I have used my new nesties too!! Sentiment is from the Sincere Salutations set and I have added the new striped grosgrain ribbon, this is available through my ribbon and paper share, please see earlier posts, 2 places left!

Tonight I have some of my lovely friends and customers coming round for a launch party of the new Mini Catalogue, must dash, tidying and cleaning to do!
