Wild About You - Last Chance Saloon!

Today I was sad becuase I will miss this little set when it retires at the end of the month! I have enjoyed using this set for childrens birthday cards and although I will be selling some of my retired sets I will be keeping this one for sure!

My little boy is going to a party on Saturday and this is the card for his friend Joe. Very very similar to one I did a few weeks ago for Jamie!

My favourite feature on this card is the little lion poking his head through the letter O!!

Last Chance List featured cards!

Today I am featuring one of my favourite sets that is on the Stampin Up Last Chance List - this set is Wild About you!!

A fab set which contains lots of fab animals, Giraffe, Lion, Crocodile, Penguin, Elephant, Bird and a sentiment.

The set has been reduced by 25% and it now an amazing £15.71!!!!!!!!!

Stamp with Us challenge

Good morning! Another Sunday, another Stamp With Us challenge. This week the theme CHILDREN'S CARDS!!!! Yipppeeeee!!! I seem to have to make a lot of kids cards so this was right up my street!!

My little boy is going to a party for his friend Jamie next week so I thought I

would combine the two!

Its a DL size card and I have stamped the background with the Canvas background stamp in Creamy Caramel. The card blank is Pumpkin Pie

The name has been stamped with the Big Deal alphabet and cut out and strategically arrange amongst the wild animals from WIld About You. The giraffe has been stamped with So Saffron, the lion Creamy Caramel and the naughty crocodile is Old Olive.

Number 6 has been stamped with the Schoolboook Serif alphabet and layered onto a 1 3/8 circle and then the Scallop Circle.

Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge

At last I have a photo of my card!!!!!!

This is a card for the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge which is to make a card for a New Baby, Mum to Be or a Pre-schooler.I went with the Pre-schooler and made this for my friends baby who will be one in a few weeks.

I got the idea for this card from one I saw on Spiltcoast stampers and changed a few bits around like the size and some of the layout.

This is the first time I have used my Wild About You set which I actually got in December!!

Its a great set for kiddies cards! I have decoupaged the lions mae which I relly like. The colour combo is Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana.

I cut out the squares on my cricut and then punched out the layers with the scallop square punch. I have used Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon with Blue gingham overt the top. Stamped the number 1 with the Schoolbook Serif numbers set and punched out and layered up with my scallop circle punch. The paper is Certainly Celery designer paper which has been retired but is still available whilst stocks last. To finish it off I have added some dots of blue stickles.

And then there were 2!!!!

Its getting exciting!!! I now have just 2 spaces left in my Stampers 10 club!!!! More lovely people have come on board so we are nearly there ladies!!!!

Last week my little boy and I went to the crazy Monicas house!! We nearly didnt get there as the stupid Sat Nav took us down some random country land and halfway down announced to us that we "had reached our destinantion" , no sight of civilization or anything!!!!

Anyway we got rescued and spent a lovely day at Chez Gale with Sally (another of Monicas downline) and her lovely daughter.
Now I have to say the idea was to get together to do some crafting. Not much of that got done I can tell you but I am proud to say I did make 1 card and guess how many the others made ZERO!!!!!!! Too busy talking we were and eating lovely cream scones.

In fact the children put us to shame and made about 5 cards between them.

So here is the one card I made! Using the Wild About You set and the colours Creamy Caramel, Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa and More Mustard, with a bit of Very Vanilla thrown in!!!
