Happy Birthday Wendy

Yesterday it was my dear friend Wendy's birthday. Wendy is a friend I met through dancing who also happens to cut my hair now. Gotta be good friends with your hairdresser - right? I sent this card to Wendy on Monday so I hope she received it in time - but I am sure she doesn't read my blog so I am OK!!!!

 I love the sentiment in the SAB You're Lovely set. Some of my ladies think some of the sentiments are a little "mushy" but I believe that if we think people are lovely then we should say they are. Wendy is one of those people who is really lovely and I thought of her when I saw the stamp.

 I stamped the envelope for a little added decoration and also this inside to match.

Right that's all from me for today, I have my Stamp a Stack preps for Saturday to finish! Yesterday I had a lot of help from my youngest son Evan. He didn't want to bee seen on camera as he is a bit shy!

He helped me pack the goody bags for my ladies, whilst I made these tags for them!

A little Christmas card

Good Morning people and welcome to my blog today! Yesterday I had another day off from Stampin Up ( I love how I can choose to have a day off and fit it around my life) and I visited the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool to practise my dancing with my partner Paul. I'm back to work today though and looking forward to Louise's Stampin Up party tomorrow as well as a class on Saturday. So back to crafting, here is a card we made at my Tuesday Club last time. Its a quick Christmas card as we need lots of quick Christmas cards.

The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations and the stars are from the really good value Simply Stars stamp set.

A Busy Weekend!

Hi there! PHEW! What a busy few days I have had! I think this must have been the busiest ever! Launch Night on Friday night for the new catalogue back to back with Team Training for lots of our lovely team yesterday!! And all in tropical heat conditions.

I got to the hall at 6pm on Friday night with all this gear! Mostly all my old retired stock.

Which soon filled the hall that I use!

My lovely hostesses were first to arrive as they had a VIP hour whereby they could browse all the retired stock early before the other ladies arrived at 8pm!! Its safe to say the ladies love a bargain, we joked that it was like the Next Sale at one point!!!

The ladies all got to make a simple card using the new Flower Shop Bundle and some of the fab new In Colours, plus the Sassy Salutations stamp set which is on special offer this month with 25% off.

The colours used were Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush and Baked Brown Sugar. It was lovely to see  some brand new ladies attend my event and get excited about Stampin Up!

Thank you to all the ladies who attended, to Jane, Katherine, Georgina and Ellie for helping me out on the night and a huge well done to Anne for winning the hostess freebies on my Mystery Hostess!!!
