Happy Birthday with Large Letters

Hello there! Today I am sharing a card which I just LOVE! I love the Large Letters bundle and have used the framelits in particular many times. This month is the last month to get the bundle at the reduced price, saving 10%. On this card I have only used the dies but I do love the stamps that go with them. 

This card was inspired by some cards I have seen Michelle Last make, thanks Michelle you have rocked the Endless Thanks stamp set. We stamped all over with the small floral stamps and then added the large letters on top.

Of course I added a bow on this card using my fave Pool Party ribbon which I just LOVE! It does tie a nice bow. These cards are really easy to replicate if you are creating a batch and you can use any floral stamp set in the background

Jems Blog Hop - Something for the Men!

 Hello there and welcome to this months Jem's Blog Hop. Today we are showcasing something for the Men in our lives! I decided to get ahead of time and make a card for Ross from his brother for his upcoming 18th birthday in a few weeks. 

Ross isn't really one for fancy cards, not sure how many teenage boys are so I kept it simple. I used the Happy Celebrations stamp set from the Spring/Summer catalogue which I am happy to say is carrying over into the new catalogue in June.

 Now I am giving you a sneak peek on this card as I have used one of the new In Colours - Lemon Lime Twist! I do love it here partnered with Bermuda Bay and Crumb Cake, great colour combo for a teenage boy I hope you agree!

Custom Tee meets Happy Celebrations

Hello there. I have been a bad blogger this week and for that I apologise. Made in Dagenham has taken over my life this week, in a really good way and I have been both physically and mentally exhausted. Thank you to those of you who have been to see it so far and for the many many positive comments we have received about the show. OK so back to Stampin' Up! Today I am sharing the cards we made at my 10 for £10 the other week. These cards were inspired by my team member Katy who made similar ones with a cupcake. I decided to incorporate the Custom Tee bundle as its so versatile for male and female cards.

I hope you like these designs, I will have a Class in the Post with them very soon.

Happy Celebrations Stamp Set

Hello there! Today I am sharing another card from last months Stamp a Stack. Each month on the last Friday of the month I run a Stamp a Stack evening where you make a stack of 10 cards. We do 5 designs and 2 of each.

For this card I used the Happy Celebrations stamp set and coordinating Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions Embossing Folder along with 2 colours I am enjoying using at the moment, Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach. I embossed the Whisper White card with the celebrate embossing folder which creates a "debossed" impression and then I stamped over it with the blobs dots. I did discover an accidental technique when making this card. As you can see I stamped over the "ebr" of the word celebrate and then I stamped it again at the top of the card and I ended up with an impression of the letters as you can see! How cool? 

 I have also used the metallic ribbon which is a freebie during Sale-A-Bration.
