Last Bella Toile

Good morning, another bright day today, which is a good job as the heater in my conservatoire is broken! Just waiting for them to come and sort it out, hopefully today!! If you are coming to my class tonight you may be best wearing your thermals!!!
OK here is my last Bella Toile card for a while
I did another patchwork style card with the Scallop square punch but instead of using designer papers I used Whisper White card which had been stamped with the Bella Toile. Same colour combo, Old Olive, Cameo Coral, So Saffron and Certainly Celery.

The sentiment is from the Say it With Scallops set and the buttons are from the Soft Subtles set of buttons.

Here are the 3 cards together, you can see how bright it was in my conservatoire yesterday!

I am very excited today as I will hopefully be receiving a large box filled with the pre-order goodies from the new mini catalogue which is on sale from 1st April!!!! Watch this space!!!

More Bella Toile!

Good morning campers!!! It looks like its another bright day here today
Here is another card made using the Bella Toile stamp. THe pattern is so detailed I find it hardly need much adding to it to make a nice card.
I have stuck with the Cameo Coral to make a monotone card and used the Whisper White sating ribbon again
The sentiment is of course from the Say it With Scallops and uses the Square punch (on offer throughout this month, see above post!)

I used some more pearls from my PRetties Kit, I love those beauties, may have to replenish my stocks soon!!!!

Here is the arty farty angle! DOn't know if you can see from here but I also stamped the Cameo COral card too with the Bella Toile.

Right I had better love you and leave you, got to get those boys to school!

Bella Toile & Butterflies

Good Morning!!

It is so lovely and sunny here! It puts you in a really good mood to start the day. Its only 10am and I am up, showered, hair washed, dressed, all ironing done and now here to update my blog!!!
Last night I had a lovely hour playing with the Bella Toile Background stamp. I need to be a bit more adventurous with colour combinations but I went with the following
Cameo Coral
Old Olive
Certainly Celery
So Saffron
This is the first card I made from a set of 3, I will show the others tomorrow and Tuesday!
I love the pattern of the Bella Toile stamp, it is so detailed and you dont need much more to make a lovely card. I have punched down the side of the card with the Eyelet Punch. Stamped the Bella Toile again with Cameo Coral and punched out with the Butterfly punch.

The lovely white stain ribbon to make a bow. Do not under estimate this ribbon, it is the most silky ribbon ever, I love it!!!

Sentiment is from the Flight of the Butterfly set but I have just inked the thank you part (it does say thank you so much) with my marker pens and punched out with the Word Window punch.

Right, thats it from me for today off to do more jobs before my dance class!!!

Stamp with us and an Awwww moment!

Good morning, I have scheduled this post last night as I am expecting an early start (got my 5 month old Nephew sleeping) and not much time to blog!
I have got an auditon for Footloose the musical today so will be off at 9.30 with my dancing shoes!!!!
Here is the challenge this week, its a colour challenge and here is the inspiration photo.
As you can see my card is very different to the picture but I have taken most of the colours from it. I have used a Night of Navy card blank and stamped the BRAND NEW background stamp BELLA TOILE in Old OLive.
I then stamped those gorgeous new butterflies from FLIGHT OF THE BUTTERFLY in Taken with Teal and I punched then out with my brand new butterfly punch, love it

Did a bit of tearing which is a novelty for me but I was inspired to do it after the challenge card we did on our weekend that Marlene did with us. I added some Whisper White taffeta ribbon with a button from the brand new Playground buttons set. The sentment is from the Butterfly set too.

Arty farty as usual.
HEre is the AWWWWWW moment. I looked after my Nephew Lucas from 7.40am until 4.00pm on Tuesday and the boys loved having him here before and after school. This is a picture of Ross watching C Beebies with him!!! Bless

And here are the 3 scallywags.
My Dad for some reason calls them Larry, Curly and Mo!!!! Ross is Larry and Evan is Curly becuase of his hair!!

Back tomorrow with cards I promise
