Hello! Blog Hop for the Autumn/Winter Catalogue 2016

Welcome to the Hello! Blog Hop for the brand new Autumn/Winter Catalogue. You’ll be hopping around some amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators blogs, each with an inspirational project, featuring new catalogue products. Currently you’re visiting Julie Kettlewell from Pudsey, UK Hello there! You can continue hopping by using the next button at the end of this post. Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making.
This week its been back to normality with the boys going back to school and me back full time to the studio. I have been full on with Christmas card making in preparation for a plethora of events that I have this month and today I am sharing a card we will be making next Wednesday evening at my Christmas Card Club - places left if you would like to come! I love the Wonderful Year stamp set with it's glorious sentiments so opted to use this along with the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set and matching punch.
I still think the chalkboard look is very on trend and I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and then heat embossed it with white emboss powder. After finishing that I took a little of the white craft ink on a sponge and carefully rubbed it over the black card to give it a look of chalk residue. I think that adds a bit of something extra to the chalk look!
The Holly Berry stamps and punch are amongst my favourite things from the new catalogue and they make the perfect accent for your Christmas makes. I have coveted a Holly punch for years and I am so pleased we have one this year.

So I hope you like my short but sweet post and you will give the chalkboard technique a go.

Thank you for visiting today. The next stop is the talented Caroline. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
