What a day!

Hello hello!!
What a long day yesterday! Set off at 7.30am and got back at 7.15pm!!! Total of 250 miles driven but had a fab day so was all worthwhile!
I travelled there with my lovely map-reading dowline Lynda who kept me stocked up in conversation and mints and we got there for about 10.15. Was lovely to meet so many people who I had seen online but never met before.
In the morning we had some training and games delivered by Monica and Bekka and then lunch. After lunch it was Make and Take time. The projects were lovely but I am ashamed to say I didnt make any, I had a banging headache and I was keeping myself calm as I was due to give a talk in the afternoon! I have since made the projects when I got home last night!
Here is a lovely little bag to hold some mini cards or love notes. Colours are Sage Shadow and Elegant Eggplant and Pale Plum
Stamp sets used are Vintage Labels and Whimsical Words both of which can be earned free with a purchase of £45!!! Please contact me on e mail address above to find out more!

I love these little clips, they are so cute and add a lovely extra touch to your project!

This is a card we made, I forgot to take a photo of what the actual sample looked like so I had to improvise when I got home. It didnt have the ovals on, I added that as an extra! The colours are Old Olive, So Saffron and Pixie Pink

The stamp is from the Happy Moments Sale a Bration set as is the sentiment.

The circles have been punched with the 3/4 and 1/2 inch punches and layered on for added dimension.
We did make 2 more projects but I will show those tomorrow.
My talk seemed to go OK, it was very nervewracking for me but I tried to make it fun aswell as informative! I have never felt my knees tremble as much as they did yesterday!!!
Right I must crack on with housework today but I have a lovely hours dancing with my teacher to look forward to this afternoon!

  3. Julie - you did fantastic! It is nervewracking standing up in front of loads of people, but hey.. it's an experience you'll never forget. Next stop the filming down at Create and Craft - nothing more daunting than seven camera's facing you and you having to pretend they're not there... lol.

You rock, my girly.. keep up the good work!
