Last of the Tuesday Club

Hello there! Its thick black ice out there this morning! I am not looking forward to taking Evan to school! My hubby Robin has already fallen once this morning coming out of our house.

So onto crafting, here is the last card we made on Tuesday night using a variety of stamp sets. One is a sneak peek (the THANKS working) and the other 2 are Papaya Collage (the frame) and Stippled Blossoms  (the flowers and leaves). I think all the ladies on Tuesday have all fallen in love with the Stippled Blossoms set! Watch out for my first technique class in February using this set.

The background is the Chevron embossing folder and then the frame is stamped in Crumb Cake and cute out and layered up with dimensionals for a raised effect. The butterflies were simply punched from the Fanfair papers.

We used a 2 step stamping technique on this card to create the flowers and the leaves and I just love how it all came together.

Here are out full set of cards that we made!

If you would like to join us on a Tuesday night we would love to see you! We meet fortnightly and the first one after Christmas is Tuesday 15th January at 7.30pm.

Before I go I want to share this crazy video with you from Stampin' Up!!! I LOVE this company that I have the honour of working for!

Elements of Style

Hello there! Back with more craftiness this morning for you! This is another card from Tuesday night and another CASED card. This time it was cased from my wonderful downline Amanda, from a gorgeous swap she gave us at Team Training back in October.

We used a cool technique on this one, by swiping the embossing folder with the Crumb Cake ink pad and running it through the Big Shot. The embossing folder we used was the Petals a Plenty. I love the effect this gives the card. The stamp set is a new one to me, I earned it FREE! Love how many freebies you get chance to earn with this wonderful company!

The colours on this card are Riding Hood Red, Island Indigo and Crumb Cake. We also used another technique called Rock and Roll on the bird stamp. The crochet trim was inked with the Crumb Cake ink pad to give it an aged effect and the sentiment is from Petite Pairs.

A new member of the Kettlewell Family arrived yesterday!!!! My new Stampin' Up Trimmer!!! Its amazing and we already couldnt imagine out lives before it arrived!!! Mother and Baby doing well!!!!!

If you would like your own Trimmer for Christmas please message me before Saturday and I can arrange this for you!

Tuesday Club Soiree!

Good Morning! I am back with actual projects today!! Last night I held our Tuesday Club Soiree at my house as we were smaller in numbers due to illness and being December everyone has lots to do! We all brought a little bit of food/drink and the theme was Thank You cards, as requested by Anjie.

I was inspired by a gorgeous swap I received at Convention from Kerry Timms and went with that as the theme of the evening. The papers we used on 2 of the cards are called Fan Fair and it was the first time I had used them!

Plenty of inking on this card and I love the Lacy Brocade embossing folder. The sentiment is a little bit of a Sneak Peek - thats all I am saying!!!

The colour combo on this card is Riding Hood Red, Island Indigo, Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla

Hope you like this make and thanks Kerry for the inspiration
