Another class card

Good morning campers, here is another card from my class on Saturday. I loved making the other one similar to this so I thought I would stick to the same colour way and almost the same design.

The card uses the wonderful set called On a Pedestal. The sentiment is from is too and its a coll £14.95, lots of the ladies were impressed with it on Saturday! We stamped the cake stand first in Real Red and then used the Stamp a Ma Jig to stamp the cake on top in Pretty in Pink and then I stamped this again in Close to Cocoa and pieced it on top!
The background looks like paper but is the little cherry stamped all over, boy did it work overtime on Saturday! Used 2 new punches on this card, the Eyelet Border Punch and the 1 3/4 Circle punch to layer the Scallop Circle

Arty farty angle, a piece of pink striped grosgrain finishes the project off!

Very dismal day here today, had to peel myself out of bed again this morning, hate these dark mornings

More weddings today and possibly a bit of housework!

Saturdays class card

Here is one of the cards we made at my class on Saturday, it was my favourite of the 3 cards. I made this card on Thursday night and the top part was looking a bit bare. Well blow me but I went on Jenny Moors blog on Friday and Jenny had made a card in the same style but had added some grasses to the bottom. Thanks again for the idea Jenny, it really added to the card

Colour combo is Regal Rose, Rose Red, So Saffron and Old Olive. The papers are Rose Red Designer Prints and the sentiment at the bottom is from Pocket Silhouettes punched out with the Word Window punch.

I do love this style of cards, thanks to one of my downline Sarah-Jane, thanks love! I think we have all got into these cards lately!

I was really cross on Saturday as I did a lovely display of all my new cards etc and I took my camera, switched it on and NO BATTERY POWER!!!!!

I want to say thanks to all the ladies who came on Saturday, hope you had a fab time. I had a little Bran Tub (or Lucky Dip) with prizes for them which I think they liked!!! Huge thanks to Lesley for doing the teas and coffees too!!!

Sparkly and Bright

Hello and welcome to another Stamp With Us challenge.

This week we had to use the following

3 patterned papers

3 stamps

3 coloured card

3 brads

I have used my brand new Sparkly and Bright set which I LOVE and I bought for my boys to make cards for their friends but I think I will be using it more than them!

The papers are from the fab Merry Moments set and are lovely. The colour combo if these has a Green I havent used before, Garden Green which I must say is growing on me now!

My favourite element on this card is the red nose on Rudolph!!!!! I decided to make use of it as Rudolphs shining nose!!

Short post for me today as I will be selling my wares at a Wedding Fayre!
