Creation Station January Hop - My favourite set

Good Morning! Today I am taking part in the Creation Station Blog Share/Hop and you have hopefully joined me from Sara's lovely blog! This month we have chosen the theme of our Favourite Things and for me this was an easy choice. When I first saw the catalogue I absolutely fell in love with the Number of Years stamp set with matching dies. OMG it is perfect for so many cards that you will need in your life! In fact I was so impressed with it that I embarrassingly told Sean Douglass (husband of our Interim CEO and son-in-law of Shelli Gardner, the founder of Stampin Up) that whoever designed this stamp set needed a wage increase!!! Ha ha ha!
Anyway I have really enjoyed making projects with this set and getting ready for my Catalogue Launch night on Friday evening (still a few places left). This card is CASED from a lovely card on page 10 of the new Spring/Summer catalogue and gave me another excuse to get the Gold Emboss powder out, not that I really need one!
I used the numbers to create the 34 background and then cleaned them and stamped with Versamark and used Gold Embossing powder for the feature numbers then cut them out using the co-ordinating dies on the Big Shot.
Here is an image which will hopefully show you how gorgeous the gold embossing is when you catch it in the light. I must remember to add another pot to my order on Tuesday as it's getting a bit of a work out at the moment.
I hope you enjoy my make and that it gives you some inspiration for this set that is available to order on Tuesday 5th January. Please take a look at the rest of the Creation Stations girls fab ideas. Jennifer is up next if you click on the Next button.

More Birthday Blooms

Hello there! Told you I would be getting back into the swing of my normal blogging routine! I've spent a lot of time crafting over the last 2-3 days getting ready for the launch of Sale-A-Bration and the Spring/Summer catalogue on Tuesday. If you are a regular online customer of mine then you should have had your personal copies of the catalogues in the post, if you haven't please drop me a message. My local customers can collect their copies at my Launch Night on Friday 8th January. If you don't already have a  demonstrator in the UK then please drop me a message and I would be happy to send you a catalogue in the post.

Today I am sharing the final card for my Technique Class. I don't usually share all the projects before the event as I like the element of surprise but after getting a bit of feedback it seems better to show you what you will be making in this instance. The class is suitable for all and includes your own stamp set and Wink of Stella glitter brush. All you need to bring are clear blocks and your preferred adhesive, but don't worry too much as I sell adhesive and have spare blocks.
This is my favourite card from the set of 3 and it uses the Watercolour Paper which I am LOVING! It makes colouring so easy and is very forgiving. I also embossed the flower in White embossing powder so you will be getting another little technique there rolled into the class.
Hopefully the photo below shows you the beautiful gold embossing. I will never tire of this effect and just love the gold look at the moment.
So here are all the cards for you to see. This is what we will all make in the class, using 3 different card stock mediums.
I still have 2 seats left for this class so please do get in touch if you would like to join me. I am also looking into putting this together as a class in the post for my distance customers although you would need to own the following ink pads Pool Party, So Saffron, Watermelon Wonder and Mossy Meadow plus a Black Stazon. Let me know if you would like information on this class in the post.
Have a great Saturday

Watercolouring with Birthday Blooms

Hello here and a Happy 2016 to you all. Now that the festive period is almost over I am attempting to get back to my regular early morning blog posts for you! I am very excited for all that 2016 will bring and without further ado I will share another make from one of my January classes. My Technique Class for January will take place on Saturday 30th January at 2pm and will include the Birthday Blooms stamp set and a Wink of Stella clear glitter brush. I will be sharing how to colour with our ink pads and an aqua brush on 3 different types of card, standard Whisper White, Water Colour Card and our Shimmery card stock as shown on this make.
I stamped the image in Stazon ink and then set to work colouring with the aqua brush and the ink pads. The shimmery card makes it easy to do and you don't have to be too precise.
I purposely made the bottom flower a little lighter and then went back over a few of the petals to add some shading.
I hope you can see the shimmer in the card stock on the photo below, if you look carefully at the bottom of the photo you should be able to see it
Some brief details can be found below or on my Classes/Events page at the top of my blog. I have have just 2 seats left at this class if you would like to join me? A deposit of £25 is required to secure your place and enable me to order the goods.
I have added some of products used but I cannot add the new items until the catalogue goes live.
Have a great New Year's Day
