All Day Stamp a Stack

Hey there and HAPPY WORLD CARDMAKING DAY TO YOU!

 Today is my All Day Stamp a Stack which I always like to arrange on this date! I have 28 ladies coming along to stamp 24 cards each and this is only Round 1, I have a repeat class on 24th October! 

So today I am sharing one of the cards the ladies will make, well they will actually make 4 identical cards of this design! I know that they will all be cross with me for putting a bow on the card but my friend Jane is coming along as Bow Backup and general helper! 

 I am loving the Jingle All The Way bundle, I think it is such an innovative design and very classy.

To make this design I used the Lots of Labels dies which are in the Annual Catalogue and created the little scene which I adhered to the front of the Crumb Cake card blank.

 Loving the Dazzling Details at the moment too!

Watercoloured Jingle All The Way

Hello there and Happy Friday to you! The weekend is in sight and I have a busy Saturday as it’s my All Day Stamp a Stack tomorrow! Mr K had a day off work today and has been baking for me and has made Mince Pies and Gingerbread biscuits!!! So very lucky he is happy to help me out.

Today I am sharing the last of the Jingle All The Way technique class cards. For this card I wanted to share the Watercolour Paper with the girls and we created the background with a simple piece of our Watercolour paper and a swoosh of the aqua brush and the Night of Navy ink pad!

We created an aperture in the thick Whisper White layer with the Circle dies.

Lots of the ladies commented that this was their favourite card out of the 3 cards we made. I love that we now have the option of the Thick Whisper White card so that we can make white cards!

My next Technique Class is Saturday 24th October and we will be using the Hearth and Home bundle.

More Jingle All The Way

Hello again! Today I am back with a creative make for you and I am sharing another card from my Technique Class on Saturday. This is a gate fold style card using the Kraft cardstock and I was inspired by my lovely friend and fellow Stampin’ Chat participant Mikaela Titheridge. Thank you Mikaela. 

This card started out 14.8cm x 21cm and I scored on the longer side at 5.25cm at each side. Just to let you know on the Metric board there is a score line at 5.25 so it makes it easy to do gate fold cards. The technique on this card was sponging with various colours, starting with Pool Party, moving onto Island Indigo and then finishing at the top with Night of Navy.

Inside also got some sponged treatment too!

I used the Curvy Corner Trio punch but in the class we decided to use the fancier corner which looked nice too, in fact I think I preferred it to this one!
