Paper Haven Day Retreat

Good Morning! Sorry for the lack of blog yesterday, I was on the go from 8am yesterday morning and I got home at 8.15pm last night. I was running my Paper Haven Retreat day which was supposed to go on until 9pm but the ladies did their projects very speedily and we were all very tired by the end of the evening too! Here is the room at about 9.30 in the morning just before my ladies arrived.

 And of course I had plenty of makes on display too

My guests got a goody bag containing a generous amount of Stampin Up goodies to use throughout the day. I also made them a little treat box as their place setting but I don’t think anyone looked inside to see what was in!!! It’s a little Lindt bunny for Easter!

 I will share the projects with you this week but here is the box of one of the mornings projects made by Rebecca

 The ladies come for the crafting projects but also they come for the lovely food that we have catered for us! Have to say the cakes this year were rather large! We didn’t want to cut into them!

 This is our lovely evening buffet spread made by the lovely Jean from Tastebuds.

 And soon it was time to pack up and go home! 

I will be running another All Day Retreat in the run up to Christmas so watch this space!

Sheer Perfection Vellum

Hello there! I was so so busy yesterday that I just didn’t get time to blog so I prepared this little post for you last night so you had your “fix” this morning. Tonight I have my regular monthly Stamp a Stack event and then on Saturday my Paper Haven All Day Retreat and on Sunday a team social stamping day! Phew - I then have a very quiet week next week, thankfully!

So tonight I am excited to share this card as it’s one of those that I really like. It was totally cased from Amy K in Georgia, thank you so much Amy.

 I have actually used 4 Sale-A-Bration items on this card! I know, I know, SAB overload but I couldn’t help it! We have the Sheer Perfection Vellum, the In Colour Accessory pack, the Natures Perfection stamp set and finally the Simply Wonderful stamp set! The colour combo is Pool Party, Pear Pizazz and Lost Lagoon.

Really hope my ladies enjoy this one at class tonight.

My new event

Good Morning, what a lovely day it is today! It is also one of my lovely customers 50th Birthday today so I wanted to give her a shout out! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVELY LOUISE!!!

Yesterday I ran my first Coffee and Card session at the Mill Kitchen in Farsley. I had 5 lovely ladies attend and I would like to thank them for joining me. I had a few ladies unable to make the first one but I intend on being there every Tuesday morning with the exception of school holidays. So hope to see you next week!

Here is the table all laid out ready, as you can see its a lovely place and it all looked very nice!

Here is my Mum (left) and her friend Margaret whom I met for the first time, Margaret was a first time card maker and enjoyed it very much. Mum is very good at talking to people so she already has another new lady lined up for me next week!!

So after all the excitement of my new event yesterday, I woke up to this weeks WEEKLY DEALS and there are some lovely lovely ones on there! The Envelope Punch Board is down to £13.46 and 3 lots of cardstock is reduced.

My favourite papers are also reduced which I used at last years retreat, Gold Soiree. Here are some of my favourite makes with them!
