Something a bit different

On Tuesday night I had my team training and also in a week or so I have a card class making male cards so I combined the 2 this week!!
A couple of weeks ago I saw a lovely card Monica made with a row of ties using ribbon so I decided to make a shirt to match!! I showed my girls at training how to make the shirts (we practised on cheap copy paper first!!!!!!)
Here is the card I made to show them (and the one we will be making on 12th June). The colour combo is Bashful Blue and Soft Suede and I think they are a lovely combo!
The background was created using the Seeing Spots stamp set which I havent used for ages (I seem to say that a lot).
The shirt was made from the Bashful Blue Designer Papers and the tie is of course the Soft Suede polka dot grosgrain.

Added a strip of ribbon to mount the sentiment onto, which is from the WOW flowers set and punched out with the Word Window layered onto the Oval punch.
Hope you like it, I really like making mens cards and must make Ross a card tonight as its his birthday on Saturday!!!!
No weddings for me today, having a well deserved day out with the boys, the sun is shining and we have a lunch date!

Congratulations cards

Hello there, how are you today?
I had my monthly Team Training last night and it was lovely to see my local girls. There was lots of chat about our Convention which started booking yesterday. SO far I have 8 of my girls coming and its going to be a blast! If you want to get in on the action and come to the Stampin UP convention in November then drop me a line!
So onto todays cards, still with the same colour combo!!! I like to have a few COngratulations cards in stock now for my team as they are doing so well at the moment with promotions!!!
These are just very simple cards using the Vintage Vogue set.

And again another simple card using the Cottage Wall papers and the flowers from Vintage Vogue.

I just love that Rich Razzleberry ribbon, its so gorgeous!!

I will post pics of what we did at our training tomorrow for you.
Got to go as I have a wedding order to complete!

Bunch of flowers card

Good morning
Here is another card using the same colours (expect to see more this week too)!!! The colours are Orchid Opulence, RIch Razzleberry and Old Olive
This card is based on one I made a few weeks ago using the new Large Bird Punch to make the flowers. The wing of the bird makes the petals of the tulips! I have stamped around the edges with the lovely vine stamp from the Vintage Vogue set in Rich Razzleberry onto Orchid Opulence card
I added a knot of Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon to look like the flowers are tied together. The sentiment is from Trendy Trees and punched out with my Word Window punch

Hope you like it!

Busy day for me today, going out shopping (Ross is 11 on Saturday) and then got to do lots of admin with it being the 1st of the month!!

Back tomorrow
