A bit of sewing!

Hello there!!!!

I am a bit late posting today as I was out last night celebrating my friends 40th birthday and I am feeling a little delicate at the moment!! Going bowling with my boys in an hour so need to find some energy from somewhere!!!

Last week on my birthday I received some gorgeous cards from my wonderful team and customers and one of my favourites has to be this one from Sarah-Jane. Not only is it gorgeous but she has done some sewing on it too!! I actually got a sewing machine for my birthday so I set it all up and off I went to attempt to make my own version!!

And here it is!! I did a lot of inking as I inked all the squares individually. Please dont look too closely at my sewing as it was my first attempt but I am very pleased with it!

I love the patchwork look with the Springtime Vintage papers and I will be sad to see them go at the end of September when the mini catalogue ends.

I added a piece of the wide striped grosgrain in Marina Mist and a large button in Pear Pizazz. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations and I have stamped a Four Frames frame around it

Arty farty angle!!

Hope you like my first sewing attempt!!

Jules x
