What a couple of days!!!

Oh my goodness!! What a couple of days!!! ON Friday night I held my first Stamp a Stack of 2013. I had seen the weather reports and it said some snow may start about tea time! No sign of it so the class went ahead! I kept checking the weather every half an hour and even up to 8.30 nothing was really happening! Then it was as if someone had thrown a load of snow filled golf balls down. Some ladies left early but my 2 new lovely girls, Lucy and Sharon were so keen to finish their cards that they stayed until 21.45 and then started the journey home!! OMG it took them 2.5 hours to do a 20 minute journey! I was soooo worried and we kept phoning and texting each other, but they made it home safe and they said they enjoyed the adventure and loved their cards! PHEW!

This is one of the cards we made - its a total case from one I saw on Pinterest, I changed a couple of elements but you can see the original card HERE

The colour combo is Pool Party, Real Red and Primrose Petals. The stamp set is Bloomin Marvelous that you can earn for free - this has been the most popular so far with my customers!!

Well the snow didnt stop and was still coming down when I went to bed (once I knew my ladies were home!). I was up at 7am and out in my PJ's to assess the snow situation as we had out Quarterly Team Training event!! OMG the snow was bad, this is my street!! We have unfortunately had to postpone for a couple of weeks but I managed to have a crafty session with some of my girls who were already up this way or could get here. It was certainly a stressful and testing day but we had some crafty fun and it was better than people getting stuck in the snow or worse!!!

By the evening I was ready for some R&R on our new recliner sofa!! Bliss!!!

I have an order going in tonight, if you would like to take advantage of Sale-A-Bration and earn something FREE with a £45 spend please contact me and I will arrange this for you!!

Good morning! THANK YOU for your lovely comments on yesterdays post! I also received some lovely emails too about the Penny Fart(h)ing!!!!!!

I am just quickly writing this up and then 5 of our lovely team are coming round for some training, which is a recap of the training I did last night for 13 lovelies!!!! We had lots of fun playing with new products!!

I have been coveting the Field Flowers stamp set ever since it was launched in the USA catalogue a couple of years ago! We finally have it and I was delighted! A friend of ours is poorly at the moment and in hospital so I sent her this card to cheer her up the other day.

The flowers are from the Field Flowers set and I 2 step stamped them and the  sentiment is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set.

Colour combo is Rose Red, Old Olive and Very Vanilla with the papers from the Natural Composition set. The ribbon is the Rose Red Seam Binding.

Team Congratulations cards

Hello there! Did you miss me yesterday? I was partying most of the day! My son had his Christmas party at the dance school and then last night it was the Adults turn and we partied at a local hotel and I stayed over with my friend Ellie as it was such a great deal to stay over - and so much easier!!!!

December has been a brilliant month for my team and they have done really well with promotions! I am so proud of them all and of course I had to make a card to send with their Reward present from me for achieving their promotion!

There are some new products on this card! Can you guess how many new things???? I may do a prize for the winner!!!!!! Non-demonstrators only!!

The colour combo is Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango and Island Indigo.

I love the little scissors stamp, the perfect stamp for a crafter!!!

Sorry for the short and sweet post today I'm afraid!

40th Birthday Card

Good morning!! Yipppeeee only 5 more sleeps!!!!

It was nice to break off from the Christmas cards to make this special card for my lovely customer to celebrate her birthday yesterday! I am hoping it arrived in time!

I still had the Fan Fair papers on my desk from last weeks class so I decided to use those. The ribbon is Crumb Cake Seam binding and I used the Apothecary Accents framelit dies and the Memorable Moments stamp set.

I also made some spiral flowers using the circle punches and added some Pearls to the centre.

The ever useful Elegant Butterfly punch was also used to finish the card off

And I decorated inside to finish off too!!!

I do hope Sara liked the card and it got there safely!!!

Right I am off to wrap and make some more Christmas cards!!!

New team member welcome pack!

Hi there and how are you? Can't believe its Wednesday already and we are nearly into December!!!!!!

Last week I had a lovely new demonstrator join our team - Mel! She is excited to begin her Stampin UP journey and I am very much looking forward to sharing this with her! Welcome to the gang Mel!!

Here is a photo of Mel's welcome pack. I do this for all my new team members to help get them off to a good start.

These fab grey notebooks are from Asda and they are great just to add a little decoration to, making them more personalised! I love to make lists so I always like to send a notebook!

I made a matching personalised card too using the Letter It alphabet stamp set and the Natural Composition papers.

Here is Mel's pack all packed up and ready to go! As you can see I have also included a bag from Convention, a colour chart, a getting started handbook and a set of sample cards.

I have 5 of these bags (different design though) to give away to the next 5 people who join my team!! Why not treat yourself for Christmas and buy the best present ever - your own Stampin Up business for only £99!!!

I also welcome new Demonstrators from our other European areas, France, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands! If you want to join a fun and experienced team please do get in touch!

See you tomorrow with a project from last nights class!

Stamp a Stack sneak peek!

Oh my goodness I completely forgot to blog this morning!!!Sorry folks!!!!

Here is a sneak peek of one of the cards we will be making at our last Stamp a Stack event of 2012 on Friday 30th November! If you would like to join us please do get in touch!

This card is CASED from a couple of places - firstly, the tag and the wonky tree is from a card demonstrated at our recent Convention and then I saw the rest of the card on Pinterest! What would I do without it!!!

The colours are based on the Snow Festival papers from the Seasonal Catalogue and I have punched these papers out with the Petite Pennants punch and layered them up. Lots of use of the Glimmer paper on here, I love how sparkly it is!

The sentiment is from the hostess set Mixed Medley, punched out with the 3/4 circle, then a Cherry Cobbler 1 inch circle finished off with the 1 1/4 Glimmer paper circle.

Hope you like my make! If you would like full details of the event that takes place in Pudsey please see my poster below!

Team Welcome packs

Hello there. I have scheduled this post as I will hopefully be enjoying a little lie in this morning with it being the school holidays for us!!!

I recently had 2 lovely new ladies join our team of Jems. I like to send my girls a welcome pack and a card to show my appreciation for them joining our fab team!

Here are the ones I made for Joan and Shazza. Very simple cards using the Natural Composition papers and the Elegant Butterfly punch with a monogram using the Morning Post alphabet.

The colours used are Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla with the stamping done in Soft Suede.

Here is Joan's pack. I do a little notebook as a gift (we all love to write notes and wish lists), a colour chart, a card and a handbook with lots of hints and tips in.

Here is Joan's notebook in more detail.

I have a few ladies who are considering the Stampin Up opportunity and have to share its a fantastic time to sign up. Make sure you do before the end of November and take advantage of the free paper offer for 6 months. If you joined now you would not need to meet your first quarterly minimum of £270  sales until the end of March and you could earn up to 30% off your first order!

If you would like an informal chat about being one of our team members and enjoying the perks of being a demonstrator please don't hesitate to get in touch with me, I would love to help you!

Betsy's Blossoms

Good morning - its a wee bit chilly today! We havent got snow though - just a lot of ice by the looks of it! We had a lovely Stamp a Stack last night - thank you to the ladies for attending, 2 new ladies too!! And thanks to Fay for baking parkin for us, how lucky were we?

Here is another card from Tuesday night which uses the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set and lots of lovely colours from the Brights colour family.

The lower portion was stamped all over to make a one sheet wonder effect and then some additional flowers were stamped and cut out and layered up. The colours used on here are Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Rose Red, Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade.

I added a cute little bow in  Daffodil Delight and then inside got a little bit of treatment too!

Our Training Project

Good morning - although it doesn't look so good out there - it's dark, wet and miserable!

I have been itching to share this project with your for the last couple of weeks. I got the idea from the wonderful Frenchie Stamps, you can find the original post HERE. I love France's blog and her videos are so cute, thank you for the inspiration

We have used the Natural Composition paper - paper it is not, it is so much thicker and certainly more like card. What you might not see from my photos is the lovely embossed style sheen you get on these "papers" too!

We used Primrose Petals as our accent colour and added the Vintage Faceted Buttons

Smooch Spritz spray in Vanilla Shimmer was added to the flower

Inside we made 4 simple notecards with envelopes - the new Crumb Cake ones - using the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and matching punch

The cards are very simple as the papers as so lovely you don't need much more!

The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners and stamped in Soft Suede

I really hope you like this project, it seemed to go down really well on the day. I am doing a class on this in January so please watch this space for dates on that!

Tomorrow I will show you a couple of alternative designs
