Tuesday Club GIft Bag

Hello there! I've just got back from taking Evan to school and ooooo its is cold and frosty out there!!! Hope that heating is on full belt in the church hall tonight for my Stamp a Stack!!

Here is another project from Tuesday nights class. I have decorated a plain brown gift bag with the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set and some Snow Festival papers.

I was inspired to do the bow here from the back of the Seasonal Catalogue. I do think though because its in red it looks like a big pair of lips!!!!

We used the Owl Occasions stamp set to decorate a tag on the handle of the bag and some Gumball Green Stitched Grosgrain ribbon.

Right thats me off for the day. I have to finish my preps for tonights class and next weeks Team Christmas Party Night!!

Last of the Stamp A Stack All Dayers!

I am sharing 2 cards with you today, suppose you could say its double trouble! Thought I would share the last 2 cards from the All Day Stamp a Stack.

This card is CASED from the Seasonal Catalogue. I love that we have lots of ideas in our catalogues. I firmly believe that it is usually the deciding what to do that takes longer than the actual making, so I love that there are plenty of suggestions and ideas.

This card uses the new Holiday Frame embossing folder which we embossed in Whisper White and combined it with Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green with the Sentiment stamped in Early Espresso

A very simple make but lovely all the same I think!

Something completely different next! I love this little owl from the Owl Occasions stamp set and I have combined it with the Woodgrain embossing folder, going to be popular for male cards!

I have also used the new Window Frames framelits and used some more Gumball Green! Did I tell you that the new In Colours are available NOW in cardstock, ink pads and refills!!

Right must dash, I am busy making all my cards for my next Stamp a Stack which is Friday 28th September in Pudsey!! Had LOADS of interest this month - there must be a new catalogue coming out or something!!! If you want to come along please message me asap

Last of the Owlies (for now!)

Ooo its Friday again and another action packed weekend! Tonight is my first Stampin Up party of September! I am actually having the party at my house for Debbie, the hostess, as her house is having major renovations at the moment! So its also a first in the fact that its the first time I am having a party at my house for another hostess! Should be fun!

Here is the last card from the Owl Occasions class on Tuesday and it's my favourite of the 3 cards. I don't often use the Brights colour family as much as I used to and I shy away from Tempting Turquoise a lot (Anjie from Tuesday club LOVES her turquoise) but I decided this called for a Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive combo.

I used the Whisper White satin ribbon, its great for tying bows and I will be sad to see this ribbon leave us at the end of the month!

The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set punch out with the Oval punches

And inside were a couple of cheeky owls!

Here are all the cards together!

If you would like me to bring this class to you and a group of friends I have just launched my private classes! Please mail me HERE for more information

Tomorrow is my All Day Stamp a Stack where I am hoping my 19 ladies will all make 24 cards each! That's over 456 cards that I have had to prepare!!! I can't wait!

More Owls

Hello there, WOW its Thursday already! Before I begin todays post I want to say thank you for your lovely comments yesterday!! It was lovely to read them!

Today I am busy preparing for a Stampin Up party on Friday night at my house and then my Stamp a Stack finishing touches for Saturday! I am looking forward to seeing all the ladies make lots of cards, my guillotine and Simply Scored tool have been on overdrive!

Here is another card from our Tuesday club, this one took the longest due to the leaves and cutting the ows out etc...

The tree is made from Soft Suede card and uses the very useful new Woodgrain embossing folder in the Seasonal Catalogue - a must for male cards. On this card I used some of the new Googlie eyes that we sell which match one of the Halloween sets, Googly Ghouls but they also fit the owls in this set too!

The bottom owl has a bit of a squint going on here!

Hope you like this one! Will be back with another one tomorrow for you!

1500th Post!!!

Hello there! I noticed just before I started to write this that it is actually my 1500th post!!!!! 1500 posts of me rambling on! I do have a few "followers" who still support me now to this day from back in 2007 when I started my blog! This was even before I was a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! Thank you to each and everyone of you who read my blog! Please leave me a comment today so I know you have called!!!

Last night was the return of our Tuesday Club. We havent had a class for 5 weeks so it was a welcome return! I had prepared plenty of samples from the Seasonal Catalogue PLUS I also baked biscuits, more of that another day!

For this class we used the Owl Occasions stamp set to make 3 different cards! Here is the Christmas version. We used the Brights family for the set of cards along with Chocolate Chip for the Owl.

The gorgeous shape you can see that the owl is stamped onto is a new Framelit design from a set of 4 which are available from 1st October!

Inside the card got a little stamping treatment too!

It was a lovely evening and lovely to see my ladies again!!

Back tomorrow with another owl
