Pop and Cuts Dress Up

Hello there. A little late posting today as I thought I would show willing and crack on with some housework this morning! It's the last week of the school holidays so I am trying to restrict our lie ins this week in order to get us back on track for next weeks early starts again!

I have been playing with the Dress Up framelits with the Pop and Cuts Card Base and the Dress Form Pop and Cuts die.

This is a really new concept to me but I invested in the Card Base die - which should work with any future Pop and Cuts dies that Stampin Up bring out - I really hope they do as its a lovely shaped card blank. The Dress Form Pop and Cuts then sits inside the the Base die and creates the pop up. You can also make the card without the pop up element too.

Here is the card front. You can see the corners of the card blank tuck inside the edges of the back of the card blank. The die cuts these little slits for you. How handy!!

I cut the card blank from the Tea for Two papers and added the dress form in Crumb Cake card then added a Calypso Coral spotty dress - again the paper is from my favourite Tea for Two papers.

A Day Off!!

Good morning! I've just been working on my monthly customer newsletter and thought I had better hop over and update my blog as I didn't yesterday!

I had a little day off from all things Stampin' Up! yesterday. It's not very often that I don't do anything related to Stampin Up at some point throughout the day - even on weekends, there are always e-mails to send, cards to make, blogs to do etc. So yesterday I thought I would be a rebel and take the day off!!

I had a lovely lovely day! In the morning I went to dancing with Evan. We havent been since 9th March as Evan was poorly one week, then we got snowed off and the dance school was closed and then we had Easter so we were raring to go yesterday!! I also received these lovely flowers yesterday from the dance school owners for doing the music every Wednesday for the last 10 weeks whilst they were away!

 Talking of getting surprise items! I was so happy to get these 2 lovely cards in the post this week from Chris and Karen to cheer me up as I have been so fed up lately with my house moving saga! Thank you girls.

Back to Saturday and I met my friend for a cuppa and a shop around the shops!! Home for a sneaky Chinese takeaway with my boys and then last night I went out dancing with some of the crew from the dance school!! All in all a busy but a great day off!!

Collage Curios

Hi there and happy Friday!! I finally managed to get some crafting time in on Wednesday night and took myself off up to my little room (the dungeon!!). I have got quite a few male themed projects to design this month so thought I would have a little play around with a few products.

I used the Collage Curios set from the Spring/Summer Seasonal. Its a really cute little vintage style set and co-ordinates with our circle punches. I used the scripted background in Crumb Cake and then stamped on top with the hot air balloon in Island Indigo - one of the In Colours that will stay with us in the Regals colour family!

I used the very popular Honeycomb Embossing folder and swiped over it with the Crumb Cake ink pad. The hot air balloon embellishment was punched out with the 7/8 inch Scallop circle punch and then layered onto one of the new silver buttons - the larger of the two. I then added a 1 1/4 Scallop circle punch in Crumb Cake behind it!

The sentiment is from Curly cute! 

Right I have to dash as I have more crafting to catch up on for my upcoming classes at the end of this month!
