Botanical Blooms

Good Morning. It's a bit of a later post from me today. Last night was our last Tuesday evening class of 2016 and we had a little soiree at the studio with everyone bringing a little something to eat. The Christmas tunes were on and we made a couple of cards with sneak peek products from the Spring/Summer catalogue. I just worked out that this is the 7th Christmas Soiree we have had for Tuesday Club as I have been running the classes since January 2010! Some of my original ladies are still with me which is just lovely.

Today I am sharing a card I made for one of the guys in the unit next door to mine to give to his wife for their anniversary. He wanted a larger card so this is A5 in size and I used the Botanical Blooms stamps and dies which hadn't seen the light of day for a good while!
The flowers were all rolled out on the Big Shot from white card and then were simply sponged with the ink pads and stamping sponges.
I am happy to report that his wife was very pleased with the card and he scored a few brownie points! Since this he has asked me to make her Birthday card which I will share another day with you.
Hope you like today's make, something a little different from all the Christmas makes.

Botanicals in Navy

Hey there! Back today with a crafty project for you and then I will update you later in the week about my travels to Onstage Local in Telford last weekend.
Last week I ran our Tuesday Club and we made 3 floral themed cards with a Navy colour scheme. Here is the first one, CASED from Sue Vine, you can see Sue's beautiful project HERE
I hadn't really used this fancy edging from the Botanical Gardens framelits so I loved Sue's card so much that I knew I just had to CASE.  The colours are Soft Sky and Night of Navy
The flowers were inked around the edges with Night of Navy and then I drew veins in the centres of the flowers with the ink pad and an aqua brush.
Thank you to everyone who has ordered from the Retirement List so far. Some items have already sold out but there is plenty left. You can find the PDF HERE or you can visit my Online Store HERE if you prefer to see photos!

Sale-A-Bration - Last Day

Awwww I am sad that Sale-A-Bration is over, it has been fab to have this event so early on in our Stampin Up careers over here! More exciting things to come soon though so onwards and upwards!!! Here is a card I have made combining 2 of the Sale-A-Bration sets, Botanical Blooms and Polka Dot Punches! I have stamped the Botanical Blooms to create a background and layered over the flowers with the outline stamp. I also softly stamped on the section where the sentiment and flowers are.

The sentiment is from hostess Level 1 set Best Yet and the flowers are punched out with the 5 Petal Punch and layered up . In the corners I have used my pricking tool for extra effect! Colour combo is Regal Rose, Old Olive and Rose Red over the top of the flowers.
Thank you to all my customers who purchased from me over the last 2 months, I hope that those of you who took advantage of the free sets have enjoyed them as much as I have!!

Sale-A-Bration - 3 Days to Go!!!

Not long to go now!!!! Here I am again with another Sale-A-Bration project. This time a card made with the lovely Botanical Blooms set. A set of 7 stamps which you can stamp and then layer the outline over the top! I have done this quite randomly for a shabby look!!!
I have used a colour combo that is new to me!!! Never used Summer Sun before (had to break the seal on the ink pad if I am honest!!! ) and matched it with Cameo Coral, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip!

I did a bit of paper pricking in the top corners as they were looking a bit bare and I think it adds a little something!

Also experimented with a double scallop here at the bottom!!!!
Last night I did a lovely workshop with some fab new ladies! We made the gift box and the card from my blog yesterday! We did run out of time and the evening became quite rushed at the end so if any of you ladies are reading, sorry it was so rushed!! I hope you enjoyed yourselves though!! Your stash will be here very soon!!

If you would like any SU products please get in touch, details on my sidebar!!!
