Playful Petals project

My lovely downline and friend, Sarah B is commonly known between my team as the "3D queen". Sarah has come up with lots of fab projects and has inspired me to step out of my card comfort zone and make something 3D!!

I made this box from scratch on Saturday evening and was very chuffed with myself, it is very basic in comparison to some of the projects you see on the WWW but hey everyone has to start somewhere!
The whole project is using the Tea Party Papers and the Playful Petals stamp set with the odd sentiment stamp from other sets.

The box has a flap lid which is secured with a velcro button and houses 4 cards and envelopes but is deep enough to fit a couple more in.

A couple of close ups of the cards, colour combos are So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Almost Amethyst.

I am thinking of taking photos to make a tutorial in how to make the box!
Got wedding order overload this week, but I luckily enrolled my boys on a week long football course!!! The came back filthy yesterday but enjoyed themselves!!
