I tried to schedule this post in yesterday and Blogger was being a bit weird and although I put the scheduled date in the Post Options it did appear on my blog yesterday!!!!! Had to delete it in the end!!! Sorry if you got a sneak preview!!!
Ok, so when I found out that the challenge was to be a thank you card I immediately knew I wanted to do a thank you teacher card!!
I have stamped the background using the Tart and Tangy apple in Real Red and Old Olive and I have stamped it again a few times and cut out and layered up, you can see this better in the last photo!
The boy (supposed to be my Evan!) is stamped with the All in the Family set and I have hand drawn the apple in!!! The TEACHER wording is stamped with the Big Deal alphabet and cut out and stuck down!
Sentiment from the Sincere Salutations set and punched out with the Oval punches and some Real Red ribbon to finish it off!!
I didnt realise when I made this that I used so many stamp sets!!!!!
I didnt realise when I made this that I used so many stamp sets!!!!!
Hope you like my first effort, I cannot wait to see them all, unfortunately I am out from 10am until probably 10pm as we have the band call (first time we hear the live band) and a full Dress Rehearsal, full make up/costumes etc!!!!!! Might try and get some photos!!
