Swpas Swaps and more Swaps!!

Hello there!!

One of the great things about Convention is seeing all the creative inspiration and meeting other demonstrators from the Uk and France and Germany!! I love to see different card and project ideas and that is what swapping is all about! For once my swap idea came together quite quickly! I do think deciding what to make is the hardest part!

I decided to use the First Edition papers as they are very neutral and you get loads for your money! I was after all making 125 swaps!!!! There are 300 attending but there was no way I could have made 300 and I wouldnt know where to put 300 swaps when I got home either!! So I stuck to 125!!

And here is my little design! Its a card front and its 9.9cm square. I wanted to use Everything Eleanor as I love this set and thought it would look nice stamped directly onto the First Edition papers in the Elegant Eggplant! I also had to cut out 125 of the other flowers in Melon Mambo! Not such a bright idea!!!! I love the sentiment, its from the For my Family stamp set, I love the font!! The border punching took a while too but I think it needed it. I added a tiny piece of Crochet Trim to them for a bit of texture and there you go! I am really quite pleased with them!

And here are 125 all ready to be parcelled up and put in my suitcase!!!! Probably will end up taking hardly any clothes, because of all this!!!

Teamie Gifts

Bonjour!!!!!

How are you???

I thought I would share the Team gifts I made today so here they are, all 18 of them!!!!!

It took a while for me to do all of them but I am pleased with the results. I decided on very Neutral colours for these.

Everyones is personalised with their initial, although I did keep panicking that I have forgotten someone!!

These were made using 2 Scallop Circles which I have just glued together at the bottom after scoring them and then the gift was placed in a cello bag, wrapped up and then I punched through everything with the Crop o Dile and added some ribbon.

The Eiffel Tower is of course very appropriate as we are in Paris for convention. Wonder how many gifts/swaps will have the Eiffel Tower on them?!

I guess you are wondering what the gift was inside?? I usually buy my girls a sparkly brooch for Julie's Jems but I decided to do something different this year and go on the Disney theme so they had something to remember their trip!

So I went for these key rings, I thought they were really cute and everyone has keys!!!!!!!!

Hope the girls all like their gifts!

See you tomorrow

Aviary Cards

Good morning! Today's the day, I am on my way to Convention! Travelling with my lovely downline Shazza, Jill and Nicky and meeting up with the rest of our team at Disneyland Paris - there are 18 of us in total!!!!!

Today I am sharing a couple of cards with a stamp set I really hoped we would get, but I dont actually own it yet!! You see, I am earning this set free from Stampin Up as a reward and will collect it in Paris! My lovely friend Jane lent me her stamp set so I could at least make some samples up with it - thank you Jane!

The first card is teamed with the Flirtatious papers. The orange mat behind the image is one of the laser cut pieces of paper which I have cut out.

The next card was inspired by one I saw at our Leeds Stampin Up Training event back in September! I just loved the card so I copied it!

I used the new In Colors on this one

And the new Large Lace Border Punch

Right thats me off for now, I will hopefully be back tomorrow with a scheduled post!
