My Madeira Swaps

Hey there! Did you miss me? I have been in Madeira with Stampin Up since Tuesday but I managed to schedule a few blog posts for you. I invited my bestie Jane to come along on this trip with me as Mr K couldn’t make it and we had a brilliant time. I will be updating you with all the photos and fun over the next few days but today I thought I would share my swap with you. We had to make 54 identical swaps and then we had a mass swapping event on the Thursday evening. I have to say, we got some amazing swaps back and I cannot wait to share them at my events.

Here is my swap. It’s a CASE of a card from page 105 of the new catalogue and I was inspired to make it after seeing a lovely version our team member Nic made a few weeks ago.
The card looks fairly simple but there were a lot of elements to it and lots of inking and punching! Thanks to Jane who stamped and punched almost all the hexagons for me!
The lovely little butterfly is from the new Bold Butterfly framelits set and it pops out of the die really easily, good job with 54 to do! Here are all my swaps together
I’m straight back to work today working on my projects for Coffee and card tomorrow morning and also Stamp a Stack on Friday evening - still a couple of places left!

I have generated a Hostess Code for the month of June which I will be closing on 30th June. Please use code 6VFVG2ZM when checking out on my Online Store if you order is over £20 but under £150. During July I will be sending you a little gift in the post to say thank you. Thank you to my May shoppers for the lovely emails and messages to say your parcels had arrived!

Simple Stems Fancy Card

Hello there and Happy Sunday to you. Was the weather awful for you yesterday? It was for us but today we have glorious sunshine - time to get the washing out!

Today I am sharing a card we made at our Technique Club a couple of weeks ago. My Technique Club is the perfect place to come along and learn more in depth card making techniques and designs. The stamp set is included in the cost of the class so you always have something to take away with you. For info on this months class please click on the Classes/Events page.

I first saw this card on one of the display boards on the cruise and was blown away by it. When I looked further it was made by my lovely friend Teri and she kindly gave me an extra card with instructions. She has also produced a video showing you how to make it which you can find HERE

Teri used the Petite Petals punch for her cards but we were working on the Simple Stems stamp set in the class so I incorporated this into the design. I also used a colour combination of Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip which was thought up by the lovely Julie in our team who does a colour challenge each week for us!

We made a matching hand stamped envelope for the card
And here is the magic inside, the card opens to reveal a little hidden message in the centre. The ladies LOVED making this card so a big thank you to Teri. I hope you like it and if you fancy the stamp set it is only available until 30th June.
Thats me off for today. I have newsletters to do and maybe a spot of crafting as well as the lovely ironing!!!!!!!!!

Simple Thank You tags

I love doing workshops/parties and more often than not the party order is delivered to the hostess for her to dish out to all of her lovely guests. Sometimes though I offer to have the parcel delivered to me if the hostess works or wont be at home. When I do I like to make some little thank you tags with the customers names on to make it easier for the hostess to hand out.

Here are Lucy's from last month. I used the Six Sided Sampler stamp set which I stamped direct onto the tags and I added the sentiment from the same set. The colours I used are Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush and Crushed Curry.

They were finished off with a little bit of Bermuda Bay ribbon

Thank you to lovely Lucy, she is a great hostess!

Six Sided Sampler and a Competition!

Today is the day that I will be going to the Stampin Up Convention in Salt Lake City! To celebrate I have a little treat for you - a competition! But you will have to bear with me and read right through until the end to hear about it!!

Here is a card I made with the fantastic Six Sided Sampler card and matching Hexagon punch - yes we have a Hexagonal punch - it's awesome (you see I'm sounding American already!).

This card was made for my Niece Helen who is 20 years old but I also have 2 friends sharing a birthday in the same week so I had to make the most of my time and make them the same design! Although each one is a little different in it's own unique way!

I also decided to make a couple more spares as it's always good to have them in the box and the display boards!!!!

The colour combo is Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush and the FRIEND stamp is from Amazing family and the Happy Birthday banner stamp is from a new Hostess set!

I hope you like todays makes - OOoo I nearly forgot about the competition!!

WELL - for those of you who have followed Stampin Up demo's blogs through Convention you will know that there is a special shop called Memento Mall!!! This is were DEMONSTRATORS ONLY can purchase Stampin Up branded products!! Well I am going to bring a little something extra back for one of my lucky, lovely customers!! Listen carefully!!

Anyone who places an order of over £30 (before p&p) with me between now and the end of July will get a ticket into the draw to win the item!!!!!! Please note my STAMPERS 8 and 10 ladies will also be included in this competition too!!!

WHAT's MORE - if you are a BRAND NEW to me customer you will get a ticket into the draw PLUS a little extra gift from me too!! Every brand new customer will get a little extra, whether they win or not!!!!
